This one buy in lost and you drop in level does not allow you to judge accurately whether you are skilled enough to beat that level. My suggestion of having more than 20 buy ins would allow you to play a few buy ins and then judge whether you are beating said level without having to drop down a level in order to maintain brm rules if you lose just a buy in or two.
