i treat poker as i would any other job. what i do, i pick two or three days during the week that no major tournament going on and take those days off, no poker. sometimes i'll use those days to play the free poker Apps but generally i use two days to be poker free

When the game is not fun, of course you need to take a break. When you want, you can always come back.

A great plan. A holiday trip to another country is the best rest from poker. I wish you a great vacation and good luck after your return :)

Time away from the poker table will allow you to reflect on the decisions made during the game. Instead of following the desire to open a couple of new tables and recoup, try to pause, clear your head and work on your mistakes. Try to improve the quality of your game, and when you feel calm and confident again, go back to the grind.

I don't see any problem with that, I play when I like it, and I don't understand the point of playing against my will.

playing poker since 2012 and over time I have learned that sometimes we need to take a break is because the game is bad is because we are a ma tide is lucky because you are affected with mind Set or to plumb because you are affected with your emotional

All this needs to be evaluated and to take a break is essential

You should take a long enough break until you are not reacting emotionally to the thought of a bad beat. They will come forever - and sometimes when you have 95% equity - multiple times in a row. Accept the pain and manage the situation.

I would take a break if I felt I had lost interest in everything except poker.
