who plays poker instead of going to work?

Hi Friend.

Living off this game would be great, I'm still trying to improve and grow my bankroll, but I'm trying really hard, for now I play while working, and in my spare time, working at night helps me.

how people dig out topics like this, what started years before.....

99% of those people who make a stable, comfortable living from online poker are not active in any online poker forums......

By the way, still play poker, instead of any kind of modern slavery.......

well I started my project only 4 months ago I'm still earning little. plus my goal is to earn 1000 dollars a month. I'm studying hard and learning a lot of things every day. With time and experience I hope to achieve this goal.

Always been my Dream to be a professional Poker player, and live off my winnings, I finally achieved a point in my Life where I do not need to work and can play all day, every day if I wanted to, but to be honest it isn't Poker that got me there, It was working hard and planning for the future that got me to where I am now.
No mortgage, No debt! and a decent private Pension!
Retirement is Great! The only drawback is I am too old to enjoy it now.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

Well in this case you'd still find quite a few individuals here who fall to that 1% category lol ...

Poker is for most people not reliable source of income. I go to work and I play poker for fun 1-2 days weekly (3-5 hours per day). To play few live tourneys is O.K., great, exciting. But, I wont play every day for many hours, no matter like prof or amateur.

Yes, I know, but i don't think i am much out of line by saying 99-1%.

First of all, the thread opener meant regs whose earn more from poker than the salary what the given person's "job" would result.

CC have around 350k members, maybe much less, but at least 350k registered some point, if i take the 1% is 3500 persons, i don't think more CC users (and daily reg poker player) earn more from poker than from any possible "job" they could get... personally think, it is under 1000, but who knows, not so many profitable players advertise the exact numbers about their profits in poker...

Even the 1000 is not more than the quite a few individuals, i suppose.....

friend, people retire too, so you don't need to work anymore and you can play poker at will.

I don't , but I think you describe the dream to almost everyone in this community , I don't think there is anyone who doesn't want something like that
