If we talk about legends Doyle Brunson is my number one. Playing for so long at top level, going through so many different eras (from road gamblers to online poker) and still adapting and going strong is something which deserves great respect. From the newer players Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey continue to play at high level for now over 20 years which is proof for their abilities. As tournament player Phil Hellmuth is also one of the greatest no matter if you like him as person or not. Today there are many good players but for me it is the time spent on top or near the top that is the ultimate proof of class. Being top player for 10, 20 , 30 or more years really is something.

Daniel Negreanu, 6 World Series Poker Bracelets, 2 World Poker Tour championship titles, and estimated worth of 50 million. But that's not why I like him. He has character. He takes everything with a grain of salt. He makes me laugh. That's important, the ability to not take himself too seriously and to be able to make other people laugh. He seems just as jolly after losing a game as he does after winning a game. Where and how does somebody learn to do that?

My favorite player is Daniel Negreanu. Daniel Negreanu is a professional poker player of Romanian descent. The owner of 6 bracelets of the World Series of Poker , a two-time winner of the World Poker Tour . A member of the poker star site team . Daniel regularly takes part in the Big Game at Belagio Casino, as well as in various television tournaments. In addition, he has written over a hundred articles for Card Player magazine, commenting on poker tournaments on television .
I like his playing style and character.
