Who is your poker idol?

Hello Poker fans,

If I had to pick a poker idol, it would be Daniel Negreanu!

In my opinion, he is a wonderful ambassador for the game of poker and strikes me as a fun, humble yet provocative player. I have warmed up to his small-ball playing style with the understanding that poker is a very unpredictable game of incomplete information and the minute someone is getting hyper-aggressive or makes an unusual bet, there is a chance that they turned over a monster community card. Despite this fact, one must still try to sniff out bluffs and get a read on the villain. Daniel Negreanu has really made some impressive plays in that department.

Of course, it is the interaction of players at the table that makes the game exciting and interesting. Poker would be very dull without funny and talkative characters at the table. That being said, there is definitely space in my mind for the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan or 888Poker pros like Nick "eastyyy22" Eastwood and Ian Simpson. They each have their interesting approach and unique chemistry at the poker table.

I hope to meet one of them at the poker table someday!

I really admire Zeros Poker. About six years ago, I came across one of his blogs on YouTube, and that's how I discovered poker. I've learned a lot from his school, and his blogs are the best.

Honestly, I don’t really have one, but overall I’d go with Negreanu.

I wouldnt say I have an idol but I have several male and female players that I have watched over the years enjoyed watching them play. Pretty much since the on set of poker online, the great explosion with poker! The start of facebook you could become friends with just about any one of the famous players which I did and had many poker conversations with many of the woman and men and I have to say most were very nice people. I learned quite a lot as well.
I would say the following players were/are my favs,

#1 Antonio Esfandiari , The Magician

#2 Anne Duke

#3 Maria Ho, Vanessa Selbst, Kathy Liebert, Barbara Enright,

#4 Tom Dwan, Sammy Farhar, Daniel Negronue (spell?), Mike "The Mouth" Matsow, Gus Ferguson

My list has many, I used to watch poker after dark on late night TV, there were a few other poker shows on way back when. I watched for many years and learned a lot from these players! I had a mad crush on Antonio Esfandiari for a while🥰 probably still do lol!
Anyway, thats my story and Im sticking to it.. 😉🤫🤑
