When it gets down to the final table and you are in position to steal blinds and have a much bigger stack than the SB or BB, doing what Selbst did is basic strategy. Even with him having an AK, she still basically had a 1 in 3 chance of winning the hand and it looked like she had about a 5:1 advantage in chips. She got lucky, sure.
