I think you played these hands more than ok, and you are being criticized for trapping your opponents and getting all the money in with the best hand.  
 
Sure it blows to get sucked out on (esp a backdoor draw), but IMO there is nothing wrong w/ your play.  I'd probably lead out w/ my T8, but if i had a read on the guy that said he bluffed w/ position when he's seen weakness then check/call, chk/raise is more than ok.  Just a horrible run of cards, as overstated as this is... At least your getting in with him crushed.
