I was interested though due to what caused such a skewed proportion on some games I have been in where it has been 50% of the table but this skew has been more at micro-stakes level. I did not realise the internet was really cheap in Russia but think I would definitely favour online poker to Casino poker if I lived in one of the colder areas there.

As Tauri has stated the country does not reflect someone skill.  I definitely agree.  When I said generally loose I do find a more loose aggressive style with Russian players as a trend.  But I also have played many many tight aggressive styles and played extremely good players many who have whipped my butt from both styles.  Loose aggressive is meant as general style and not meant to equate to bad play.  I do not tend to do as well playing loose myself but sometimes try and switch my style and see how well I do.
