Every single person on the  planet that plays poker has a certain type of thing they like to play in poker.  Some people like to play for fun and not risk any money at all.  Some will only play for money.  Some will play only cash games, while other people will play only tourneys.  There are all kinds of people that are somewhere inbetween all of these too.  Just because one person likes a poker tourney, doesn't mean they are not as smart as someone that likes to play only a cash game.  It doesn't mean that they are smarter than the cash game player either.  Even if you are talking about poker IQ and not outside of poker IQ everyone has their own thing that they like best and even what they play best.  Sometimes what they love to play and what they play best are the same thing and other times they are not the same thing.
