I am guilty of the occasional "Donk" comment, but it is very rarely when I get knocked out and always on a freeroll table with someone that is continually playing bad cards out of position and catching then bragging about his/her poker skillz. 
 
If I am knocked out by one of these I try to add a little humor to my exit occasionally and will say something like "Come donkey we will find another game" or "Donkey its time to go find the princess" (these go through my head with Shrek's voice I dont know why but it makes me giggle)
 
What people have to realize is that some players (good or bad) are going to think that they are the best. And those are usually the ones doing the name calling so you can tell they will get flustered easly most times on a good hand if they THINK they are supposed to win. 
Donkey's, suckouts and whatever else names I have seen and occasionally been called are a part of the game, use them as a learning tool I was once told so I do hehe
