There are some women if you give them an inch they take you a mile. A compromise will only lead to less and then even less poker if she has no concern about your happiness but only about getting her way all the way.
 
Some times you have to turn the tables on them and not be intimidated but always reinforce that you love them.
 
 I once told my then girlfriend now wife of many years, dont threaten to leave me, just do it, because if you would be happier with someone else, I want you to be happy. The threats ended right then and there.

Since then I have called her on her BS a few more times, but she later complimented me for doing so tactfully. I rarely put my foot down about anything and try to involve her best I can but when I do put it down she knows better than to press.

If you dont have respect from your woman, you dont have her love either.
