women in poker

i´ve played a monthly league and 4 or 5 women among 60 players always appear,

i can say that they play better than most of the league players,

my question is: are women more suitable for poker than any other sport?

i ask that because most of the sports are leading by men, not only physical but games like chess too,

but in this case we can see an inclusion of more and more women and maybe sometime will be at the same level (at least in quantity) because in quality probably they are now,

i´ve seen several tournament online or tv, and seen a lot of women playing but at the end they are only a minority in the game

I think women are fine in poker. I will say that most final tables in events will show a lack of women but that might just be the percentages since it's a small percentage of women in the tournament.
I do think for the most part men are more geared for poker but then you get someone like Venessa Selbst who kicks ass no matter what the gender.

Yah but she is totally the guy in her marriage not saying that's a bad thing bc I love her to death and love the training videos she used to do

She is a pretty awesome person

I think females are a lil less likely to tilt and also most men will take a hand to show down just to show he aint scared even though its a foolish decision i think men let their ego get in the way alot of times at the tables

I think you are speaking from personal limited observation. Almost all the sport disciplines include men and women. We shouldn't generalize like this because in the end it's not about gender but brain pattern types (eg. logical thinkers, abstract thinkers, etc.)

I don't think so. Top players put this kind of thinking aside and play top game.

I think women are more applied when pursuing a strategy when playing poker and it's great to see them in action at the tables

women or men in this game named poker are the same if one woman has abilities and skills why he cant play i dont see any reasons

First I question your referring to poker as a sport. But then again this is based on my bias of what constitutes a sport. If you can do it proficiently while simultaneously drinking and smoking ( and under the right conditions having sex) I refer to it as an activity. As for the question about women in sport or traditional male activities like poker, pool, darts etc., there is no reason why they can;t be as good as males. Anyone, who can carry, birth, and raise a child is functioning on a level that no male can compete with in terms of focus, determination, and sheer strength of character.
