Phillips had to at the very least put Demidov on a pocket pair, which his aceking would be trailing with 2 cards to go. To even get involved in such a big pot preflop with aceking was a mistake. Phillips should have just called Dem's raise and seen the flop. However, I guess his plan was to limp large utg and then pop it up and win it without having a flop. Dem messed up that plan when he 4bet it.
Eastgate was very fortunate to knock those 2 guys out. It's awesome for Demidov and Phillips to watch players bluff off their stacks with absolute junk. For Eastgate to be thinking how can I maximize my value and get this sucker to call only to have that sucker reraise allin is magical. lol and it happened twice.
