I play zoom cash games. It's very fast-paced so I don't get bored, but it's also got the benefits that cash games offer: 
1) I can start and finish my session whenever I want, which is very convenient
2) I can close the browser instantly whenever I get tilted (no pressure to keep playing and continue the tournament)
3) My winnings are relatively frequent and consistent (compared to the extreme variance in MTT's), so I can know what my win rate is
4) I never have to sit on a table where I'm playing for 4 figure amounts... I seriously couldn't handle the stress if the difference between 1st and 2nd place was over $1k. Like, how do you stay calm when you're at the final table of a huge MTT and you've got 500 buyins at stake? That one outcome affects everything and outweighs anything else that will happen to you for months later. I'd rather have every session matter equally than a whole bunch of pointless sessions, then one life-changing session.
