They show up only once in 220 hands statistically, so it is important to maximise the pot.
It depends on position and on the players at the table, but 9 out of 10 cases i try to get in money early.

I don't find it a slow game, because you always have a player who connects a double pair and you get to lose, or a trio, so you would always play aggressively, I recommend it, the A pair is like a 50 to 50 as you don't always get to win if in a large majority of opportunities but there are times when that small probability will be the variation.

I have learn you don't want to slow play them. because other players might hit there hand and take down the pocket pair of aces.

Hi.
Slow play with aces usually leads to loss and frustration. I believe that aces should be played aggressively, because otherwise you create additional risks for yourself.
Good luck.

I slow play aces only when I'm short stacked - just to maximize profits. In other times aggressive style is the best.

I started slow playing them more often but I notice that people catch on to it..
What is your opinion on this matter, CC?

First you need to know what your image is, then who you're playing against.

Slow play happens post flop, but to perform this action, you need to fit the opponent into a range of hands and then, with the probability, make the move preventing a bad beat from occurring.

I slow play them shortly after the bubble or early on in a tournament. These two spots are the most likely spots where someone will go all in preflop after someone limps or opens with a bet.

at the beginning I slowplay a lot of AA but not anymore, I only slowplay them at the end of the tournament.
at the start of the tournament, I play it rather cautious with the depth of the stakes

I have several ways to play AA raise x2 or play limp. There is even an option that I use but depending on the table or the situation I can play them all in pre flop. But hey, everything is allowed in poker. The important thing is always to win the most chips.

The only way I might slow play AA is in a heads-up. You want to get all these suited babyconnectors or small pairs out of your way, so even raise bigger.

I stopped slowplaying aces, a dangerous flop comes too often, especially since opponents have recently started calling too much and are waiting for their card.:)

See, one thing, if you have a premium hand you should always raise. Increase a lot. With that, you take players with weak hands ready to give you a bad beat after the flop. And you're holding a premium hand, so you're going to call and tangle even more on the turn and river. Premium hands, particularly QQ, KK and AA pairs are very strong in 1v1 but get exponentially weaker the more people are involved with you in the pot. It is worth remembering that, if it is a tournament, the phase in which it also influences decision-making...

Aces if there is a raise before your turn always all in if not raise and after per flop all in this is how I play with then I don’t know the statistics but it depends on the table

Listen to this guy!

Never slow play any premium hand.
I was in the BB in a large live tournament and there was a player in late position who limped in. I called with 7,4 off suit. Flop came 7, 4, x.
I check called 3 times ,including all in after the river and doubled up. He had slow played aces.
A good raise or 3 bet will give you an idea of what a villain has.

It happened to me today. I had KK and lost to 8.4 (two pair already on the flop.

I never slow play with aces.

You always have to bet with pocket rockets.

In my experience playing poker I have seen many ways to play pair of AA there are players who only pay the blinds others like me who go with all of them but the best way will always be to get a lot of chips from the opponents :)

Wow, I am quite a passive player (still learning!) and frequently slow play AA. But after reading many of your responses I have learned to try being more aggressive when I have a good hand. It has actually bit me way too many times by slow playing AA, just the way many folks described with someone else's weak hand working out on the table better than my AA. I'll definitely try something different next time. Thanks!

Depends on what position I'm in, or how many players have called in front of me and if someone has raised.

Hi all
I lost so often with AA making a small flight that now I play at least 4-bet, at least you know that they won’t come in with garbage and you won’t lose 4.5o, agree that it’s not so insulting to lose to a player with KQs than 7.3 about.

I just slowplay AA about 10-15%, especially when there are maniac players behind me.

I know from experience that it's better not to slowplay aces. The flop comes 1-2-3 players and then you don’t know what to do
