my first ever bankroll was the old poker host site I won a Freeroll in 5 card draw and built that to about 100 in no time.

Yeah is true, when field is more restricted have less donkeys, so if u use strategy u can play better against them.

All things are possible. The main thing to believe. Slowly accumulate. Then go higher. It`s my result on 888 Poker 02 Mar. Win will use in the tournament for $5 and then higher.

The best free rolls are on BetCoin. It is a straight bitcoin site running on WPN. They have a 12ish free roll every day that usually only has about 100 people in it, stupidly soft game. They also have a daily coin free roll that is for 1 bit coin ($1200.00) that has about 50 people in it. For the daily coin you need to win a "ticket" to their daily coin steps and win each of the 3 steps (each step 50% of the players cash). Traffic for cash games is slow on this site, but all the tournaments are shared WPN tournaments.

No need to deposit to cash out.

If you can't win some money there, you are really going to struggle on ACR and Stars.

It is very possible to build a bankroll through freerolls. Will just take a while and require patience.

Freerolls are not that easy to win.
First you must learn the game or you will be disappointed with your results.
Try and make enough posts to join the freeroll club on this site.
There are many players and posts on the site use them as a starter, the strategy posts are a good start for you.

Yes. On betonline I've used frerrolls to win some money and then buyin with that money to play more. I'm at $400 now using this strategy.

The issue is they make you deposit to be eligible to withdraw. I now deposited and still am yet to be able to withdraw- so I'm anxious to get my winnings out.

At the same time, the deposit has granted me a ticket to a 5k free roll which I hope to cash.

This is really interesting. How big are the prize pool of these soft daily freerolls? are they like $10 ACR or they have bigger prize pool like BOL?
Because to me, it is a waste of time to play for three hours and if you win you earn $3 for example and that is when you can maneuver around all the silly plays people make in freerolls lol

Right now, if you are from US, I would say that Bet-on-line has the most freerolls, America's Card Room is probably next. Black Chip Poker is part of ACR and Intertops poker has a few freerolls also. Good Luck

I'm currently working on building my bankroll now on PokerStars. Yes, it will take me some time, but after being away from the game for some time and doing the poker school online courses, I've earned a bunch of Freeroll tickets.

To the OP, be patient and stick to strict bankroll management. You will get there. There is a ton of information on this forum to help, and keep you motivated.

Definitely can be done, I would suggest trying on 888. I've had good luck with free tickets since a lot of the players are less disciplined and most of them go all in really early in the game.

It will take a while, but since I'm having trouble depositing, I've placed in several freerolls and have about $8 in my account just from one week. I'm going to wait until I get to $20 if this situation isn't fixed to start using it.

On Betcoin they have the same 10.00 freerolls that ACR does (both wpn). They also have internal freerolls only on Betcoin. They have a 12:30pm daily tournament I think might be worth 10.00 total, only pays 5, but very few people play. They also have a daily step tournament where you have to play 3 levels that pay 50% of the players each level. At the end of the 3rd level, you get a ticket to the daily coin which is worth 1000.00. This runs every day. My suggestion is to download the software and check out the freerolls.

Yes you can do it by playing freerolls but I also suggest adding micro cash or sngs to your arsenal as well once your bankroll from these freerolls supports it to help build roll higher. Bare in mind the headache of playing freerolls exclusively can be tough

Yup it's possible a lot of freerolls can take up to 6 hours to get something like a dollar depending what the prize pool is but it all adds up

I think the hard thing is not that the players in those freerolls are so skilled, but rather that you need a bunch of luck to actually win them, for a prize of no more than a few bucks...

I don't really see the use in that, you could just aswell deposit 20$ to be able to start playing lol... If you're a good player you will start making profit anyway. It will take a lot of time and effort just to make 10s of bucks while you could just start off away with a very small deposit as well. If you are not profitable with that cash you would have to start all over anyway...

its about your skill and luck.. if you good enough then its possible build BR from freeroll but if you have No skill then its almost imposible even you make deposit you gonna lose them all.. most people with good skill and good strategy can build theyr bankroll..

If you register for PokerSchoolOnline, you can get a few free tournament tickets before they ask you to deposit.
In particular, you get 1 50c SNG ticket which might be equivalent in value to playing a few hours of freerolls since the payoff is so bad for those.

Hey,

I know that I have depositted however as of late I built 10 cents to 15$ then to 27$ by cash game. after winning the 10 cent tourny. Now my issue was I then accidently entered a 10$ beat the clock once instead of the 1$ and got put out with 30 seconds left then went on tilt and blew the rest.

My game plan was spin and go's only. However I strayed and payed for it. Now make a game plan only play games you are making return on. for me 1$ and 3$ spin and go out of last twenty games I am 13/20 so thats what I need to stay at as for the 7$ game only 2/7 so my losses are major there and I am not ready for that level of play.

Stick to a game plan and don't stray until you are past you intended goal and have a number you need to hit to enter something larger.

Hopefully that makes sense once you take down a freeroll

Yeah. that is so good advice, cause I make plan like that, but never hit prize pool. I did 20$ deposit and lost. So I decided that never gonna deposit again until my skill is more developed.
