What we should do with pocket 2-9

It's always a little relief when we get pocket hole cards. Basically we go with flow when pocket 10-Queens are hole cards. And most popular choice for A-K are all in. What about rest?

Jokes apart you should fold your 29 without a doubt don’t get into trouble with weak hands such as 29,27,28.
However if you want to play those it’s your choice ,

There are lots of variables in poker so no one can give you a one size fits all answer. It depends on
Stack sizes
Position
Action in front of you
Who's left to act
Payout considerations (if a tournament)
Etc

And this is just preflop then you will need to make postflop decisions.

Also note 99 is alot stronger than 22

Of course, there are different tournaments, different situations, different opponents, but I personally never play with such junk. The online game is very fast and dynamic, so playing with such garbage just doesn't make sense

Well if you are in BB and all others folded except SB that filled up. Watch the flop and if the board is 992, or 999, or 222 you will have an interesting game, check and watch the SB moves carefully.

In 99 % of cases this hand goes into the muck, imo.

All other moves in all other positions are pure luckgambling
(tournament situations are an exception (but still extreme luckgambling), with some options depending on your stacksize)

Depending on the opponents at the table and the depth of the stacks, I try to see the flop for the minimum price, usually it’s a minraise (although GTO says that it’s even profitable to call 3-bet, at a distance this action will be “plus” with absolutely all pockets except 22) and then everything is simple - whether you hit a set or not (with the rare exception of a straight draw).

Depends you playing cash or MTT. For example any poket pair in MTT, if you 10 bb or less is an auto shove preflop for me.

It all depends on your goals. If your goal is to have fun, any hand starting with 7,2 will do. If your goal is a result, then it is better not to play with junk like 9,2.
