Whats the best way to build up your bankroll?

I mainly play multi table SNGs and MTTs. Play 4 table at once. I do not play cash at the moment. My bankroll is around 400. How can I build it up?

With that bankroll i would play MTT with a buy in arround 5 dolars, if playing arround 15 tournaments you should make a big win in one of them but considering that you play in 15 and win in only one you have to make sure you are playing in very profit touranmets

How have your results been? If your results have been good than I'd say stick with what you have been doing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If they haven't been good, maybe try playing less tables. Maybe it's a focus issue? Also I suggest proper BRM like others have said. And finding the games you have the most success in, and sticking to those.

The rule of thumb according to books is 100 x bb = > BR. So, with your bankroll, ideal sng and mtt is $5 and below.

How did you reach 400? Did you take a loss or you profit to get there.

Simple tips
1.if your bankroll took a hit, then obviously you need to learn how to properly manage and practice good brm.

2. If you profit, then continue doing what you were doing, your game change/play, buyin etc can change according to how your BR grows.

3. If you're now depositing 400 and looking to build from that then I suggest to start off playing games your comfortable with obviously staying within the range your bankroll supports.

4. If you are just looking for general advise on brm, I suggest you look up brm right here on this site and you will find all the detailed info you need to start learning good brm.

Also don't forget you can have the best plan in place for good brm but you can fudge it up once you tilt.

Agree with both of you , best place to start is Cardschat , and the best way to build your bankroll is to play freerolls.
With the winnings from the freerolls you can play paid tournaments and build even bigger bankroll.

It is best to choose one mode, to play with known amounts to invest, it is good not to bet more than budgeted as it may affect significantly the bank. If you are I think $ 400 is good MTT 10us and sit and go 7us.
