I usually play at Dover Downs in Delaware or Baltimore Horseshoe.

Just played the wsop-ME satellite at Horseshoe. The room was really nice, but the blind structure was super fast even for a smaller buy-in event.

I live in Maine so to play in any big tourneys I have to travel. I've had very good results at The Poker Room in Hampton Falls New Hampshire as well as Seabrook Poker Room in New Hampshire as well. But by far my favorite place to play is at Foxwoods in Connecticut. They have awesome tournament series almost every month with big guarantees as well as the largest poker room on the east coast. It's quite a travel, an over 3 hour drive, but as a reg who does well there I get free nights every week so I usually take the bus and just stay for 4 or 5 days.
It's not Vegas but being able to put in a 12+ hour session at the 2-5 table and walk to your room at any time day or night is awesome. If I wasn't married I'd live there haha.

I'm interested in your home game. I play in a $1-$1 home game in Georgia but there's a optional, but typical, $5 button straddle which effectively makes it a $2-$5 game.

What's weird is that most players only buy in for $100 and no one tops off. They donk off the $100 and then rebuy for another $100, and then another $100, and then another. Only myself and two other players buy in for $400-$500. And I'm the only one who tops off my stack. Last week, I was down $300 and in for $700. After 4 hours, I doubled up against someone who was running hot. I wiped him out and walked away +$120. Most times it's difficult to win big pots because everyone buys in so short.

Why do you think your game plays like $5-$5?

I play in the Manchester 235 and the Grosvenor casino in Manchester England.

Mainly tournaments, the Grosvenor casino have some great deepstack games and if I bust early there is usually a £1/£1 cash game to jump into.

I also played in the mirage when on holiday in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and was knocked out on the bubble which pissed me off to put it mildly.

I live in Clearwater Florida, and we have several poker rooms that are within a reasonable distance from my home. I usually play at the Silks poker room at the Tampa Bay Downs horse track in Tampa, and I 've also played at the Derby Lane dog track. I haven't played at the Hard Rock Cafe yet, but I plan on doing it very soon.

I play at Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. Parx and 2 other casinos are about 30 minutes away. However, I haven't heard great things about the other 2 casinos and I really like Parx. They have a great variety of cash games and tournaments.

I’m in a prime spot where I’m at in PA. I have Harrahs Philly, Parx. And sugarhouse 35 minutes from me. Then I have sands, and Delaware park 50 minutes and just over an hour away I have AC. My favorite place for tournaments Is Harrahs Philly, but cash game is Parx and Borgata.

Jack Casino Cincinnati - Good solid play here great MTT and cash games
Hollywood Casino - Hit or miss on any cash game action MTT are hit or miss as well
Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Cash Games always going and kind of soft MTT hit or miss.

If your in the Toronto area, Fallsview Casino (or any in the Niagara region) is the best choice. Lots of tourists coming repeatedly to see the Niagara Falls.

And the rake is extremely low and capped, unlike the many underground poker houses up north in Greater Toronto Area which take huge rake and don't offer as good action as the casinos in tourist areas.

We have several options in south florida and many of the casinos are close by. Some places like Big Easy in Hollywood offer freerolls of $5,000
