Cash game or tournaments?

For cash time reasons.
I like playing MTT better.
But cash allows me to reduce the variance between MTT eliminations and cash game wins.
So I usually play an Omaha cash table and a Holdem, and if there's an MTT I can play in that time, then I play an Omaha table and the MTT.
I never play more than 2 windows open, because I really like to analyze and take notes on the players I'm interacting with.

I like tournaments better because you don't think of your stack as your money.

I love tournament poker, but it rarely happens that I sit down at cash tables. It seems to me that good money can only be won in tournaments. I play at micro limits, so cash games are not profitable for me

I have played both and found out I am more successfull at tournaments. That's why I play tournaments only now, although sometimes I get annoyed and tired if they last more than 4-5 hours

I prefer regular tournaments. Of course my favorite tournaments are our CardsChat freerolls. I don't play cash games because they are too complicated for me.

I prefer tournaments because the Cash Game if someone has a lot of money will have fun betting everything even without looking at the cards like I've seen in some clubs where I played poker!👌👀

Good morning everyone, as time goes by my poker preferences are changing, before I preferred cash game, but now I prefer Mtts and in my opinion mtts are much easier to earn money, in cash game if you have a good technical knowledge you will earn with less variance but always smaller profits than in Mtts.
My best day in Mtts profit was $800, my best day in cash game was $50, I play micro and in the other days to profit $10 you have to play a lot of hands.
The cash game and I play for fun, of course I want to make more profit I think it's less stressful than the Mtts, because in Mtts you're waiting for a strong hand to play and when the villain comes who is recreational, he plays whatever and it's bad all the time, I I know it's part of the game but it's stressful all the time.
As for cash game, you will play flop, turn and river because it is very deep, and you can evaluate the strength of your hand.
But if I have to choose one, I choose Mtts because it's easier to earn money.

I prefer to play tournaments. Because in cash games, you can quickly go up and lose everything quickly, too.

I prefer mtts because there is an end goal. it was feels more satisfying when I do well.

I don't feel the same way with online cash games and find them to be a bit boring.

live cash games are bit different than online, and I don't mind them. I actually built my live poker bankroll to ~11k playing a mix of 200nl, home games cash games, and home game mtts, before switching to online mtts. I probably would play 200nl anymore, but I'd play small buy-in cash / mtt home games.

I always prefer tournaments, cash-games have many sharks and although there is a lot of adrenaline, there is a greater chance of losing your money.

Cash games are certainly better profit and have more fish in my eyes. People are more inclined to chase pots knowing they are not short-stacked or bust out the torni with nothing to do.

Most big tournament players make their name in the cash levels, just about finding the novice whales and cashing in over time/variance.

Saying that, certainly enjoy a tournament much more. Coming out on top just feels so much better when it all comes together

I like to play both at the same time, as early tournaments are usually boring. I usually play zoom to avoid playing too many hands in tournaments in the early stages.
