How to attain final table in 888poker freeroll ?

is there a way to attain final table in 888 poker freeroll ? I mean what are the secrets !! All in méthode is a fast way to get chips, but veery risky . Freeroll is very hard, because you are facing people you don t know how they play ! What are their purposes from that freeroll ( do they want to win , don t care ... !!!! ) .BUT , there are some players that u can always find in final table ( freeroll tournament ) . How they do it ? Is there a certain strategy for freeroll tournaments ?

freerolls are like any other poker game they need the correct tactics Patience and wait for your hands and the best spots (who is involved in the hand, what's your position,what's your hand,what's your effective stack) Answer these questions and decide for me I play only good hands mainly pairs and big premium suited cards and I can easily 3bet weak players and flat call the good ones if I am short and I have a minimum of AK-AQ suited or kings and aces I rejam on any raiser and pray for a call and a lucky board all you need is Patience hands and pots will come soon or later.

Yes but when the blinds change every 3 min , waiting isn’t the solution , you will find yourself under the average, and you won t be able to play against chip leaders ,because you ll be weak , and you won t be able to call the players Who just don t care and and making all in looks like an easy thing to do . ( that s the 888poker freeroll)

if it's a Turbo you should act quickly and open shove any pair bigger than 88 and also all big aces starting from A-J suited to A-K suited and when short also unsuited Big aces and Q-K suited all lower pairs should be thrown away if early positions and just limp fold in strong positions.You never call unless AA and KK and sometimes QQ or JJ if some tight player Jammed before your turn to act

Especially in Turbos it might help to get yourself a good Shove/Fold Chart

This is a great way to grab some chips when you are in the small blind and it is folded to you... At lesat I found myself surprised as a newbie when I realized that you have a pretty huge range of starting hands you can profitably play aggressive in these situations...

Especially in fast paced online tournaments these little doses of extra chips cn make a real difference as they might just represent the amount You need to make it to your next monster

Yes all 888poker freeroll are super turbo ( there are 1 or 2 who s slow like the 1000 casino mix up -> that s good to play , blinds change every 10 min ) . Thank you your answer was really helping

you need a lot of luck to get in final table super turbos tournaments with 5k+ players no matter if they are freerolls or not

I actually finished 2nd in an 888 freeroll out of about 2500 people (would have been 1st except he hit a 2 outer on the river and then had a 10:1 chip lead).

The way I played it was tight early on and let the crazies make mistakes. I actually had the nuts on the river early on, on the button and had 4 people go all in ahead of me.

Later on it was a bit of luck. I had Q8o in BB with about 10 left and ended up making quads and busting 3 people.

With the freerolls they are super turbo so luck definitely is a factor but play tight early and let them give you their chips.

In freerolls and you can meet a variety of players, but all your opponents, in general, can be divided into two types:

1. A type that has absolutely no idea about poker at all.
2. The type to which this tournament is indifferent.

If you intend to win a freeroll, then, due to unusual opponents, your strategy should be as follows: tight, solid, aggressive poker.

1. Play only good starting hands.
2. Make big raises and big bets more than in a normal game.
3. If you have a good combination, put, put and put it again.
4. If you have nothing, well, there's nothing you can do about it. Do not try to bluff.

I Have a good deep run in ST freerolls on 888. Recently I got 1st in $6000 grand hand skill tourney. I did finish 17th in Lucky chip tourney today.
The secret in these ST games are Stack size. You need to build a decent stack size to get deep in these tourneys and as these are ST in nature you need to play a lot wider ranges of cards like 7 8 suited in multi way pot and get lucky.
You need to win some coin flips where luck matters.
But the truth is Only stack size matters in ST games and it does not matter how do you built it whether via 2 7 or via A A.

Yes I agree with you , thoses kind of tournaments are hard to win . bluffing can gets u in a serious probleme against players who don t care about throwing all their chips just cuz they have high card A

You have to win the coin flips last week I ran deep in the weekly 4K freeroll and built a big stack early on by jamming preflop with good starting hands like AK JJ. The monthly freerolls 6K and higher have slower six minute blind levels and eight minutes in the 10K I still play aggressively never limp in with premium hands.

You need to believe... you need to not miss an opportunity... you need to stay away from trouble...
a) never fight it out in a revenge type situation where you lose...
b) stay alert to maybe see when your seat might heat up...
c) always know what the other players are doing at all times...
d) stay focussed
e) get ready for losing... cuz you will only be reaching, 1% of the time...if you are lucky... and you select your tournament right...
as always... if you play enough poker... you are gonna end up losing.

i have reached FT in 888 freerolls about 5 times. in poker club games it's more gambling than tactic. i won a Jackpot Freeroll some months ago.

I foind it very tough personally , I guess I have to take a good fold-push chart and play more hands to gain chips . Also to play better strategy and no silly games .
Like a freeroll with 1500 entrants . I was 2nd , 3 remaining one was with 2 only blinds and was sitting out for a long hour (I was waiting for him to lose all his chips ) but then JJ , the other had double stack . I was on the button , couldn't resist to shove , he called with A9 double stack , A onthe flop , silly me .

I should raise/fold on reraise all in or A on the flop , 2nd is better than 3rd and then play the HU

If you don't have strategy in a tournament and you are an allin guy , you dont go very far .
