Your question is somewhat simpler to answer than say,"What is the meaning of life", but it is still way to broad a question. You need to be as specific as possible with your question. The best way if you are new to the game is to pick out a hand that you had trouble making a decision about & post it along with your question. Keep in mind that the responses you get will provide you with food for thought & options to think about based on the responders experience & preferred playing style
rather than specific answers to your question, cause it always depends.

I usually open to 2.5 BB to 3 BB. I think it's probably gonna be more profitable in most games than flat out going all in, since all that's gonna achieve is getting the table to fold around quite often or get called by QQ+, AK.

The smallest bet that will accomplish your goal is the best size. Some players wont fold to a min raise but they may fold for 1.5BBs.

My answer the the question "what is the meaning of life" is simply, if one has to ask what is the meaning of life then clearly their life has little meaning. :p I do agree with your response to the poker question:)

Really depends for me, on how aggressive the table is, how the players on my left or right are playing. If i have position. I like to mix things up, or you become predictable. It matters not if a have a premium or not. Never become predictable.

it all depends on the situation, on the stage of the tournament (if it is a tournament) and on the size of your stack, if the stack is short, then just push and that's it (again, the bubble factor can interfere here) if the stack is medium or large, then it makes sense to play through a standard opening raise of 2.2 or 2.3bb

It depends on the situation and the players. In freerolls your opponents tend to call almost every 3 bet. You need to find their limit and it could be sometimes a 10bet or more.

I think if the hand is really good, it's better to bet 3bb or even 2.5. On the other hand, the description is not complete. If there are no cards on the board yet, it's best not to bet big. Anything can happen. And if the river was already on the hands of the nuts, depending on the information about the opponents, you can go all-in.

Opening is the first step in a party, and there's not a written number, how much you are supposed to open on the tables. Even the number of your opponents, your position and the structure keep making effect on this number.

I would say, let's just open some tables for some days, and see how people on micro levels, low levels and high stake levels are playing in such circumstances - what they are opening with, and how they want to lay down their parties. I think it would be a good way to you to learn - if you are still interested in poker - and through what you saw, just find your way & rythm throught the games you are playing.

Good luck! :)

Yea depends on alot for me, like time in game, BB you have left, people's playstyles, but generally I use that rule of 3BB for a decent hand and mix it up when I need to

I bet my strong hands from 2.2 to 2.5 BB, and when there is payment before me I make pot bets and then I make possible bluffs on the boards

well, you are very accurate with the poker explanation
but I cant agree with the second paragraph
you just destroyed one whole section of philosophy and great thinkers of the unknown.
or
maybe you live happy life without asking yourself those questions and without needing to :)

2-2.4bb is the best choice by far to do a open raise. I just open 3bbs and im in SB vs BB.

Bet agressively

Bet aggressively if you really have a strong hand.Dont let garbage hands crack your aces and kings, better let them fold than being cracked

Hmmm. I guess I occupy myself with thinking about greater things, like whether to bet quad aces when there is 3 to a royal flush on the board. Life , like poker , is full of decisions.

It will always depend on the players at the table and what you hope to accomplish. There are days you can just min bet and everyone folds so that is all you need to do. Then there are the days where you get 3 and 4 callers opening 5BB or more. You just need to find that sweat spot on the betting and go with that.

I like to size the bet at the position. If I'm on the button I do a bigger size, if I'm OOP smaller.

if they are premium hands the best thing is to play very aggressive and go out betting 5 bb, to win something good, it also depends if your opponents are aggressive it is better to go all in because in the end connecting a flash or ladder is what the opponents will look for at these tables
