Real money or play money?

Once you win some cash in real money game there is not much point in play money. It feels fake. But I am always up for poker with friends, there is usually some alcohol there so its a win win situation for me

I started out with play money poker. But after having spend a lot of time on real money poker, I cant imagine ever going back. Then I would rather do something completely different like watch a movie

Everything is ok, what do you say about the option of playing for money. With friends or acquaintances, I would have reservations.....there are enough events or live games if you want to play for your own money, avoid inconvenience or "scenes" with those close to you.

In my opinion, playing play money may be fun, but for 5 minutes, just like participating in free satellites, people simply do not respect their stacks. And poker stops being poker because you can't force someone to fold, and it looks like a lottery in which everyone enters and one wins because he was lucky, not because he was skilled at playing. Only real money makes poker worthwhile. There is punishment for bad decisions and reward for good ones.

I played play money games while I was learning but a lot of play money players will just go all in with any hand. Now I prefer to play freerolls where it is still free, but I can actually win a little real money.

I started with play money games. Since transitioning to real money games though, play money games don't seem as fun. Real money games also seem harder to win, as players take the game more seriously.

Of course we love poker because there are prizes and we love money because we are all people and it's nice when you win money everyone wants it and enjoys it so just have fun playing for non-real money is very boring and there are people playing there who just want to play poker I think there are very few such people now but they still exist
