I have rarely tried to play several tables online at the same time, but I feel that sometimes I get distracted and make mistakes. When I play only one table, I concentrate better, although of course, the potential profits are lower.
What do you prefer: multi-table or a single table?
Greetings from Peru
it's actually a fine line between get bored or frustrated with a cooler/bad beat and loosing focus on many actions at once, you need to find a balance there where you can do as much volume as possible without loosing focus.

In short, you need the volume to overcome variance but it needs to be balanced enough to don't diminish your playing quality. I play 6 - 8 tables at once. Works fine in 6, 8 is a bit above but I only use that when falling short or finishing a tournament

Think everybody, should, play as many as they can focus on, while having an eye, on their bankroll, to keep the volume up

Do you prefer playing one table at a time to stay focused, or do you multi-table for more action and volume?

The right number is whatever amount of tables maximizes your hourly earnings.

I think you need to find the number of tables where you can still play your A-game. Playing just one table feels too little for me. For example, I can handle up to 8 tables at the same time while keeping my focus — more than that and it starts to affect my game.

4 tables is optimal for me, but I need to learn to play more.

I play on a maximum of three tables simultaneously, I've tried more but more than three tables is definitely not for me.

In my case, I prefer to have sessions with big volume, that's why I play 10-12 tables at the same time. But is ok if you limit yourself to just one of that fits you.

I prefer to play in several at the same time so I can increase profitability and that's what a professional has to do

I 4-table the Z00M 6-max cash game tables. (or 'FastForward', 'SNAP', 'Rush & Cash', 'Blitz', 'B00ST')

Sometimes I will play 2 tables from one site & two from another at the same time. This way the players don't see you popping up constantly on their tables.
I also rotate amongst the different sites fairly regularly.

Still REALLY wanting to transition over to MTT's. Not enjoying having to what feels like 'starting over' again. To make a wage equivalent to flipping burgers at McDonalds I know I'll need to be playing a minimum of 12-tables. BUT, first things first. (going to give it a go tomorrow and I expect to be playing around 8-10 tables). Honestly the goal is to work towards 18+ tables at a time. (maybe a year from now if I work on this as much as I have on cashgame play)

En mi caso, prefiero tener sesiones con mucho volumen, por eso juego en 10 o 12 mesas a la vez. Pero no importa si te limitas a una que te convenga.
Don't you think there's a lot of volatility when playing a lot of tables?

I totally get that! Playing multiple tables can be exciting, but it definitely splits your focus. I also prefer sticking to one or two tables — it helps me read situations better and make smarter decisions. Quality over quantity, right? Greetings from brazil! 🇧🇷👋

Multiple tables at the same time, as they increase the chances of winning

Saudações do Peru
I think that playing multiple tables is more profitable when you are already prepared, it takes some time to get the hang of it, but it's good
