Online poker allows you to play multiple tables at the same time, and a good player will have an ROI close to 30%, which is an excellent ROI. If you are a profitable player, the more tables you play, the more profit you will make. So much so that many poker teams establish a minimum number of MTTs per month. I was once part of a poker team and the minimum MTT is 600. Playing 1 MTT at a time will really help you play much more focused, but you will be wasting time. Ideally, you should play at least 6 screens. Some players play 15 screens and others 12, as this greatly increases the chance of reaching the final tables, which is where the money is.

Honestly, playing on one table makes you focused like a sniper, watching every move and smelling a bluff from miles away. But when you open 6 tables at once, you feel like a fighter pilot pressing random buttons and just praying not to crash 😂.

• If a big tournament is definitely better than one table, this way you can focus and watch other players play. Maximum 2 tables.
• For smaller tournaments, you can have 4 or more tables.
• If you have cash games, you can have 4-6 tables.

Hey Recrea,
the best advice is to start slowly and do not play more tables than you can handle. It can take time to adjust to playing poker at several tables at once. If you're new to multi-tabling then just start by playing two tables, then once you're comfortable, add another. But always be careful and dont think, you can get the short cut while playing more tables. You wont beat the variance, only urself.

I think it depends of your personality. I'm not very patient, so, if I only play one table at a time, I get anxious. So, I need to play several tables at the same time or if only have one tournament to play, I usually do something else while I'm playing (I know it's not the ideal, but that's the only way I can play).

The answer is obvious to me, play one table so you can focus to the game you are playing.
Playing multiple tables can get confusing and difficult to focus. At least for me anyways.

Some players are excellent at multi tabling ( is that a word?) any who. Maybe try it in low buy-ins or micro cash games to see how you do?

In my case i'm no multi tasker. I never play more than two at the same time. I can keep track of players and cards much better with no more than two tables open. One is really best for me but can handle two if needed.

I think it depends a lot on your poker level. If you're starting out, it's better to just have one screen to focus more and get the hang of it. But if you're more advanced, it's better to open more screens, as long as you see that it doesn't make things more difficult. It also has to do with habit. When you get used to multiple screens, it becomes easier.

multi tabling is for wizards who do this full time for many years and they don't necessarily chase wins but , just to stay active to rack up rewards in the programs and get that rake, sites like ggpoker is even rewarding loosing players , trough bad beat jackpots , or AoF where players shove with marginal hands just to chase that straight flush jackpot, making the game seem like a slot machine.
I think sticking to one table and playing clean, solid poker is the best way to go.

I have also tried to multi-table , and if you double up at one table with 72 cause nobody raised on your BB and you catch a full-house on the flop......
You just loose the next hand on another table with AA cause the algorithm tries to keep it fair f or everyone.

And thats why, just my opinion, stay focused, and save money when is "your time to loose" , just by having a good table read , and learning to fold good hands , and ultimately win by reducing your loss , and in contrast try to maximize your wins when you really have it.
