Are you a fast or slow thinker?

Fast normally, but everyone wants to think of themselves like that. Depends on your experience in any given situation. The more exposure you have to a scenario the quicker you eventually see a response. For example, if I see the flop now and other players hole cards I can now quickly identify what they need to hit, that took a long time to develop that skill.

Slow thinker, but act fast. A terrible, terrible combination. Ends up with lots of why, WHY, did I do that??? Situations...😖

I generally prefer to take my time before making important decisions however poker doesn't always allow for it.

A lot of the more straightforward decisions should be streamlined once you've played poker for long enough, you should know which boards have a high c-bet frequency and which ones you should range check. Similar to once we get into push fold spots, those decisions shouldn't take too much processing power because we should have learnt them already and we're just recalling them from memory.

It just takes time, work on a new poker skill until it becomes second nature and you won't need to spend that much computing power to make a decision, saving your attention for more important and valuable spots.

Overall I would classify myself as a quick thinker, but part of that is being able to quickly recognize a decision will take more time. I think that's really important too.

In important decisions I am slow thinker . In unimportant i amm a fast thinker , poker rooms don't give you much time to decide in crucial spots that's for sure

Pre flop and post flop I usually know what to do depending on the situation, I try not to take any super fast decisions because I usually I am wrong.
In some cases , like if my opponent jams river and I am the one who has to call it may take me the whole time bank to decide if his move makes sense or not.

Well, that's definitely a losing strategy. In poker, you need to think about your opponents' cards first, and then look at your own and the center.

In general, I think very quickly and can make decisions instantly)) but I very rarely do this, because I will be very predictable and opponents will be able to easily read my style of play, for some reason I think so)). I think in order to play a poker hand as correctly and effectively as possible, you need to rely on both instinct and common sense. I tried to play relying only on instinct or only on common sense, but the best result is obtained when I use both at the same time.

Actually what you call "fast thinker" is probably best defined as "anxious people".
