In 10 seconds, you need to think about what your opponent thinks about your cards and what actions will affect his thinking.

Something similar happens to me, I usually take a long time to think and I let myself be carried away by instincts (of course I always choose the worst decision hahahaha)

Fast, but I prefer to slow down the game a little and not press the right button right away.
At least in online poker you are forced to act relatively quickly, but you can play with time there too.

I play tournaments so it depends, for regular decisions I'd say 1-5 seconds. If I get 3-betted or have make a tournament deciding call or fold I use 10 seconds and if needed a bit of time bank.

I'm more of a slow thinker, which means I often struggle to figure out the best move within the 10 seconds allowed during a hand. As a result, I often rely on instinct rather than sound logic. Does anyone else experience this?
Am I a slow or fast thinker? Can I get back to you on that?

Even though I know it’s a mistake, the ideal — the correct thing to do — is to always use a bit of your time bank.
Ideally, you should spend at least five seconds of your time bank to make the best possible decision.
Of course, there are hands you know are automatic folds.
But there are others where you really need to think.
I usually make decisions pretty quickly, even knowing I should use the time bank.
So the right approach is to use your time bank according to the situation — the tougher the spot, the more of your time bank you should use.

I think it depends on the situation. In standard spots I’m a fast thinker because the decisions are already internalized through study and experience. In complex or unusual spots, I slow down on purpose to avoid autopilot mistakes.

For me, good poker is about knowing when to be fast and when to take extra time.
