Im glad to hear DNegs is getting rid of baggage,as ive said many many times,PStars is a horror story these days.It was a players dream up until a few years back, then it became a big decietful money sucking machine,a pure commercial entity with all the usual bells and whistles of deceptive practice, very glad to hear it indeed, and huge congrats to Daniel, wishing you and yours all the best.

Why does it matter if he is at Stars or not? I know he has enough money already and he really doesn't care about the average poker player. More rake is better am I right? He got married and now he can sail off into the sunset with his millions.

More on this: he was never a winning player online anyway. Correct me if I am wrong. What does that tell us about Poker Stars?

He's done a lot over the years at stars. At some point and time has to be family.

When you have accomplished all the things he has done time to relax now.

Many are disappointed with his departure from the PS, but maybe it was time. If you put yourself in his place as an ambassador for PS, you have huge pressure on your shoulders. If he made this decision, he certainly looked very well as he did with the playing cards and made the right decision ... if it is not the right decision the time will show him! Good luck DN!

Daniel has been my fave player from the beginning, not only for his success on the felt, but a true players player. He has done so much PR, it’s time to take a break from poker

I wonder if he will say something like "more rake is better" in the future? And will he be at PartyPoker? :secruity:

You are very right.... I sat at an online table with him one early morning and he had to rebuy in several times with starcoins, I was very surprised he kept getting shoved all in each time... Yep it tells you something about pokerstars

The poker boom is long gone. Daniel Negreanu is a living legend, but not in online poker. I do not think he stands a chance against the young guns. He is amazing with reading people but it takes a lot more to suceed at online poker today.

My opinion

I think Daniel leaving pokerstars is a good thing. They both have different ways of playing poker. The probability isn't involved the ethics is involved. Different attitudes of poker. Leaving the money to the Europeans and other third world countries is Pokerstars method. Daniel must think his fans want money. Needs them to break off Pokerstars and go for it on ACR and Betonline and some other site. Like thier big three. Partypoker, Fulltilt and Pokerstars.
