What do you think will happen to 888?
A lot of freerolls have been canceled, the prize pools of many tournaments have been reduced, and there have been some pretty drastic changes in recent weeks.
CC freerolls now have a prize pool of $100 instead of the previous $200-300.

Maybe it's time to switch rooms?

Where is it worth playing Micro MTT? I like mystery bounties the most, GG is too big, there are big tournaments with lots of entrants there.

Better have $100 tournaments than nothing.
The choices will not be large, depending on the regulations, or the market for online poker is too small in your country.
888 hast still one of the greatest number of freerolls for bigger tournaments.

Yeah, of course I like them, and when I have time, I play them too :)
I play from Hungary, where nothing is actually allowed :D
I've just been reading a lot of bad stuff about 888 lately, and they've reduced the prize pools for a lot of tournaments, and some tournaments have even been canceled.

As with Pokerstars, the competition is great and there is no sit to fight for micro-limiters, especially for free-rollers

yes, you are correct, always have to look where the best ones are available,
the mini prizepools especially in the satellites of 888 are only usable, when you have too much free time, you can`t learn poker with them, it is just for fun, anybody shoving with any cards

If we compare 888 with other freeroll poker rooms, 888 definitely wins here. If I compare the micro-limit game itself, I would choose PokerStars. When it comes to bounty, the choice is for gg poker.

I wonder if 888 have reduced freerolls to build up some reserves whilst they wait and see if they are subject to a tax grab in the upcoming UK budget. If they aren't raided in the budget, maybe they will bring many of them back.

In many rooms, the playing conditions are getting worse. I think this is due to poker being less popular than it used to be.

Let's hope that they will not cancel CC freerolls from 888 at all in the nearby future

They halved the prize pool for this too. Description: "Win a share of $5000 Guaranteed". Then prize pool: $2500 :ROFLMAO: Although doubt any of us are in the "Whale Club"

They are planning some sort of monthly Global League, essentially trying to push their live package over winnings from online, mixing freerolls, real money buy-ins AND social media participation for some sort of leaderboard league

I remain a loyal 888 player. Yes, cash guarantees have dropped to $100. That's definitely not great, but we have to remember what PokerStars did with Community tournaments. That's why I think 888 behaved loyally and didn't remove tournaments from their lobby, as PokerStars did.

Try playing on all the sites, each one has its own appeal, even if it's just one MTT.

888 has been very good to me in the past and I will probably continue playing on it from time to time. However, their business decisions have shrunk their player pool to a laughable size. Everything is shrinking as you have noticed. Cutting back on freerolls isn't going to attract new players to their site. It's a sign of management trying to squeeze out as much profit as possible out of a platform that is becoming extinct.

Is the micro limit weak on PokerStars? Or is that not what you meant? I didn't quite understand.

Okay, thank you, I can clear my Pokerstars account. I just made my first deposit on GGre, where I'm playing the bonus and a few MTTs :)

I haven't paid attention to this before, I usually spend my points on Club All-in, but I've never managed to finish in first place, so maybe it's better to convert them to cash.

In the future, it's worth focusing only on Sundays, as there are more tournaments with bigger prize pools, and I think there are good satellites for the main event.

What is happening at 888 is very sad. It used to be a great platform for gaming, but due to its incomprehensible policies and attitude towards players, the room is gradually dying. Over the past year, they have left many countries, and as a result, the number of players has decreased, followed by a drop in tournament guarantees. It is very difficult to find something similar in terms of game quality to replace 888, but I hope this is not the end and only a temporary setback.

agree 100%

Seeing a number of their decisions, it felt like even someone with next to zero marketing knowledge/experience could've done a much better job than an entire 'team' (888 marketing team) being paid for it. So lame!

To be honest, I only play a few hands on there a couple times a week these days, because my money on there is beginning to feel like Monopoly money. Time to go through their verification process for the n'th' time I guess. I've been putting it off because dealing with their support is so annoying (just what they're counting on).

IF I were a Cardschat freeroll player, I'd consider finding some games I could compete in if I'm hoping to play poker in the coming days while hoping to breakeven at minimum. Learn one format and practice it til' you're seeing it in your sleep.
