Wow, I can't believe it. I guess I shouldn't say I am too surprised, but this is yet another huge blow to this business. With FTP being so huge, this does not reflect well on the future of internet poker. I have never played pokerstars but man, I would be cautious to put money anywhere at this point whether I was overseas or not.

Replying to this so forgive me if someone in the thread has, but Wolfie, I felt the same initially, F The USA etc etc. But after some reflection, it's clear that this isn't their fault. Yes, they started it, but it is really the way FTP have behaved since then. If it were just from Black Friday, the same would have happened to PS too.

IMHO, No, Stars is licensed by a different body and their business requirements for the license make it much more unlikely that Stars will have their license suspended.

I have suspected since 4-15 that FTP was either underfunded or was not segregating the players funds as their operating agreement had stated. I was hoping they would admit that they were underfunded and would promise to cash out their US players, at least to the extent that they were properly funded. Better a part of something than the whole of nothing. I have doubts now that FTP will reopen. I was happy when I got all of my funds from Stars and I commend them for that. I have an increasingly sickening feeling that my FTP account is not going to be funded at all. (especially since my funds at FTP were twice as high as by Stars funds.

The evidence is what we all know now, the posts are there and the dates are too, and he was right, even the admins unbanned him. I have not read the whole topic, it is huge but I think he actually gave some sort of evidence.

Heck even some players saw the shit coming and took actions...( phil ivey ).
This court order was on 26th, so they keep receiving funds on purpose to run away with them knowing that they would close anyway on 29th.
