I have played on Bovada for the past few months and it's pretty cool. I just started playing on ARC and the games are very soft, IMO.

I am not a fan of brovada or acr. I think the software is crap for both of them. I like betonline the best. I don't know why. People have said that they have had problems with them but I haven't seen it.

I am concerned about poker bots on Bovada. There is almost no way to tell.

Bovada is better if you want to do more than play cash games. Takes forever for sng's to fill up on ACR and the tournaments aren't that great either.

I just like it because there are always full ring 1/2 games. I cashed 2k out a few months ago and they sent it to me wu for free because they said their check would be slow. They just added mastercard as a deposit method again. I haven't seen that in years. What kind of problems have people had with them?

Bovada's software is garbage. I feel like I am playing poker in a communist country. If the site had music it would be 80's rock that they think is new.

What US Room to Choose?

Alright so..Im trying to figure out what room to choose. Now I like ACR because of rakeback and they have some pretty need VIP program which I like and bovada just because it has more traffic. What do you guys think would be best. I like cash games and sngs and honestly mtts too haha, but ACR is looking really attractive with all it has to offer just lower traffic.
So.....

ACR
OR
Bovada

You answered your own question, if you want rb go with ACR. If you want more traffic and not much for promos go with Bovada. Bovada and ACR for cash, Merge and Bovada for Mtts. It is to bad for Lock probably best cash well with rb, but they don't pay people.

Yeah the RB really doesn't add up unless you go on a good run but it's nice to have it at all.

I prefer Bovada over all the U.S. sites, Carbon just seems like a fish bowl site, with players shoving with any ace, any two in fact. I don't care how patient or how tight, or how good you think you are, Carbon with its very questionable software, coupled with noobs galore is just not a site to CONSISTENTLY grind a profit. Sure, i have won some good turnys, and hit a few good licks in the ring games, but a tight, patient, player doing his best is like a blind man in a mine field. ACR is ok i guess, but i am not impressed by it. Not many choices out there though, so good luck where ever you end up playing.

I asked a similar question regarding ACR versus Black Chip Poker. It was brought to may attention that CC has freerolls with Black Chip. I went with Black Chip and am quite happy.

I chose not to go with Bovada since the graphics seem so crappy to me.

Bovada vs America's Card Room

Hey Guys.

Which is better? I'm starting an online account (I've played mostly home games and dabbled a tiny bit online and have read and studied the game since I was 15) and have heard good about both. Which has better payouts, easier for US players, better software, and overall better site traffic?

Cheers

LMAO This post made me crack up, thank you for that.

I could see why you feel that way, although personally I don't think it's THAT bad. I've seen worse, granted it was in 2006... but it was worse. :p

I would recommend Bovada, as long as you don't mind the whole anonymous thing. If you do mind it, then America's Cardroom is definitely the better choice of the two. Personally though, I would recommend Black Chip Poker over America's Cardroom. I feel like the action on BCP is better than the action on ACR but maybe that's just me :p

Its the same action. Right or wrong??
