Cheating at Betonline?

I heard in the past many people complain for betonline scam even on youtube videos all negative comments

They have reneged on bets they said were posted with the wrong odds. But you know what? If they would have won the bet, they'd keep your money. I had several NBA futures bets and when the season was put on hold, they cancelled all the bets I was most likely going to win, but they didn't cancel the bets I was losing. Tonight I was told that a bet I made was for the entire season, even though it was listed for the current game. I bet Hellmuth to beat Negreanu, but did they pay me after he did? No, they paid me after he won all 3 matches!! If he loses any one of those matches, they take my money. They mislead, renege, cheat, modify and do everything possible to keep your money. It's unreal the things they're pulled on me. They even cheated me out of a $500 rollover.

Would it be too hard to list the names of these bots. Then others can choose to engage or avoid these bots.

Original post is from 2012, and if there were bots back then, they are almost certainly long gone. Also rather unlikely that OP is still following his thread after all those years. Especially since he is listed as "new member" and only ever made this post

I actually find this one amusing. Everyone is always ready to blame the site or the cheating and bots. I knew people would complain even 9 years ago just never thought is was so much complaining even then. Interesting that when these POP up how often its from someone who make the post and never came back or signed back in to cardschat like this one.

Ok lets just go with this for a while and assume, that actually Betonline is one huge scam, where you are playing against the house or "house bots", as you call it. Then why would they do it the way, you describe? Why not let the bots play solid poker and just get lucky by for instance having KK, when someone else have QQ? Or flop the higher set or complete their flushdraw? If the RNG is rigged, this is just as easy to arrange as to let the house bot hit absurd 2-outers or runner-runners after getting its chips in bad. And it would be much less obvious and more difficult for players to detect.

What is happening here is classic confirmation bias. Loose and splashy players are typically the first to bust from a tournament, but when that happen, they are no longer there, so you dont notice it. And since all hands have equity, they will occationally get lucky and build a big stack early on. And this you notice, because you think, its "unfair", that bad players are rewarded with luck.

They are also annoying, because when they have the chip lead, they are kind of handcuffing you and preventing you from playing your normal game, especially if they are on your left. Every time you open a hand, there they are with their call or even a 3-bet, forcing you to play out of position, and usually make a strong hand to even get to showdown. But this does not mean, that faul play is taking place. These "fish" are the lifeblood of any poker game, so if you are a serious poker player, you need to learn to both love and deal with them.

Well they will never admit to cheating so it’s useless to claim anything , also i doubt that you can sue them because they are Probably registered in some weird jurisdiction country.
Go play on GGPoker you will enjoy losing to runner runner …

Exactly. When people win in poker, its due to their superior skills. But when they lose, they love to blame it on someone or something else. Which I guess is also easier than admitting, that they suck at poker or lack the nessesary work discipline to succeed. Guess this has always been the case and will continue to the end of time

In my opinion it would be fine, if mods just closed old threads like this to prevent them from being reopened. Its a non-quality thread, and OP never returned to CC again after making it. There is way to much of this nonsense in the forum, especially considering, that Betonline is actually one of the sites, that host CC freerolls, so they are essentially a business partner to CC.

Not saying it should not be allowed to be critical of poker sites, that CC cooperate with. But at least have something factual to base it on rather than just "I have seen someone play bad and get lucky, so clearly something must be wrong". I mean honestly what is this? A kindergarden?

Your responses are so dead and I could not say it any better, Id does sadden me when people do complain. We are lucky they partner with CC and should be much more grateful we have the opportunities we do.

Probably not cheating..lol..Probably more of the lines as bad luck or jus a bad beat and it happens. We all take a hit every now and then but its more important to get back up. Good luck 🍺.

I don't like BOL period I just feel.like I run bad on that site period. I prefer Bovada.

Yea I’ve heard of people cheating online before but I personally don’t know how they did it.

i'd be more worried about the site itself closing up , or the US Feds seizing the domain name here , and suing the owners .

Ken Latall's comments above are recent and pretty specific.

I was not aware that some sportsbooks appear to bait-and-switch.

Are bots still suspected on BetOnline? I'm thinking about depositing, but if there really is this, I won't continue.

I know this is hard to believe but about 2 years ago I was in a freeroll when the screen chanched and I was being promted when to bet and when to fold, this lasted about 5 min then I got disconected and when I got back all wsa normal.

Since BOL and Sports Betting are the same program base, does this say we would see the same shady play as we do on BOL? Or are they set up differently at that level?

They are the same network with 2 skins. You can bust out of one tournament - have no funds on that site, sign off, log onto the other one and buy in again into the same tourney on the different skin.
You can not however log into both skins at the same time.

As to your question. I have no clue regarding shady stuff on either site, however as a couple other people stated - I run like dog shit on BoL so I rarely play on it. I hardly think it's the fault of anyone cheating or the site. I just get dealt crap hands for 2 hours, then pick up KKs and get stacked by QQs. Thats the M.O. for me on there. Nobody is cheating me out of anything. It's just poker - wah wah boo hoo. lol

betonline has been around for decades. I've withdrew and deposited 10's of thousands of dollars over the last 10-12 years mainly sports betting, but have played a fair number of cash game hands on bol and never once have I not been paid out or felt cheated by other players on the tables.

Most of these offshore betting/poker sites will eventually die out when betting and poker become fully legal again in all the states, but until then, play some poker and have fun.

you can't do that,played in a Omaha trny at BOL ,went to SB thought i was entering a different omaha game and they said I couldn't because I had already played it and it was a re buy

I can, I don't know why you can't. maybe it was a freezeout or something. I've done it countless times. But usually because of my own silliness. For some reason I run better on SB than I do on BoL but I really only play on the sites during the days when we have our Freerolls. I've bought in on one site - not realizing our freeroll is on the other site. So I intentionally punted and logged in on the other site - to play the same event I was in before - but will play in the freeroll also - later in the evening.

making you believe it's "just poker" is the greatest robbery of all. Why don't they post hand vs hand results each week i. e. K7 beat QQ 64 percent of the time last week etc.
