Everyone who has ever played poker has either lost or won. Any loss can be considered a negative experience, accordingly, a win is a positive one. Maybe I didn't understand the essence of your question. What kind of negative experience are you asking about?Oliverromero said:Or any other poker website?
I must've missed this.puzzlefish said:I don't think it's just PokerStars. It seems to be in most rooms and it isn't limited to poker. The play starts out going too well - sunrunning - and then all of a sudden that stops and things start going really badly. This isn't limited to poker.
It shows up in the casino games as well, whether it is blackjack, slots, roulette etc. There's a brief period of time where it's an amazing lucky streak and the payouts from the games are too good to be true, but all of a sudden it turns off and stays off until the next time that it is triggered again somehow. In the off mode it's just loss after loss.
Roulette especially is funny. You can try my method of playing it where you bet on 2/3 of the track (rows or columns) and just keep switching the bets to be on areas where the ball didn't land. Should be completely random but after a while the ball starts landing specifically in the spots that you didn't bet on. Once in a while is ok, because you just double or triple the bet the next time. But then the ball starts defying the odds and "picking" the parts of the track you don't bet on 10 times in a row.
Call it coincidence or variance, but I've seen enough to have my doubts.
