I have participated in those freerolls and they are difficult to place in the top third of the leaderboards.

There are a lot variables that come in poker especially in freerolls mainly because players are looser and more bad beats happen.

However, these tournaments do not play bad money. A little patience and luck - and you can build your own small bankroll.

I agree it can be frustrating but my computer is up and the sites are open, I can always add a freeroll table.

This month, Dec. I am leading the jackpot freeroll for Bet-on-line. Woohoo!! I actually won the 1st freeroll of the month. To make the money, I am pretty sure I need another finish close to top ten, it is just fun, not much money. I like it

They are frustating sometimes but mostly free to play except Stars which has a cent buying so great value if you can catch fire and run deep. Never rebuy or add in these.

The payout is extrfemely top heavy and there are loads of bad players so very tough to navigate. But they can provide valuable experience as well as a chance to win some bucks or most likely some cents.

The non Stars ones have a larger min cash as much as 65 cents and smaller fields so better to play. Earlier this year I took two 35 cents min cash in two days on Betfair and ran it up 20 odd dollars.

I was chip leader with 900 to go on Party today got coolered twice and two bad beats sent me packing in 600ish well short of money.

There are usually a big field of of players but you just have to be patient and make sure you got the time to play I have won some money playing them it gives you a little something to your BR :stupido:

Good chance to win some cash

Jackpot freerolls is a good chance to win some cash, and make your first bankroll. Number of players in some rooms allows to make deeprun in many cases, but top 1 or top 3 will require lots of luck. GL for all.

Thank for that information but by now everyone knows about this freeroll, I played it in Americas cardroom its very difficult to win first place too many people join this freeroll and they have 2-4 hours late regristration but hey its a freeroll you can't beat that.

Those freerolls are a great way to build a bankroll, you play smart and you have a chance to get in the money, avoid the bingo players in the beginning unless you have a strong hand.

At the beginning of the tournament only play with very strong hands, as the initial bingo is complicated.

With a good strategy, these tournaments, which for some are a source of shame, can prove very useful to build your bankroll. Due to random All-in, you can consider paying them even with medium pairs or strong aces. Of course this is not fault-tolerant, but you've usually managed to knock some idiots down.

Just a quick update on these Jackpot freerols. Came in 33rd out of 700+ today.
On Bet-on-line I have a 1st place for $25, 2 min cashes for I think .50 cents and today was 75 cents HaHa, If I can stay 1st on the monthly leaderboard that is $30 more dollars

So if you have time it is not bad for 0 investment
