As someone that enjoys to play poker, though isnt crazy good or anything, I prefer to play ultra low stakes and only participate in higher stakes games or tourneys via freerolls. Any recommendation on wich sites offer the most lucrative and frequent freerolls and deals with very little amounts of deposits needed?

888poker has by far the most freerolls available on a daily basis, although I don't like the site much..but that's just personal preference

GGpoker has daily freebies where you can grow your bankroll quite easy.

Cardschat also has freerolls both at GG and 888poker

Zynga Poker does not require any deposit at all. Its a Facebook App and a play money site. Its terrible, but what you pay, is what you get ;)

I'm a very budget-conscious player, so I'm looking to maximize every penny I invest in grinding. Currently, I'm primarily playing on WPT Global.
I find the platform offers a fair number of low-buy-in tournaments, and the field is often very fun.

For me, WPT is the best platform right now 👑
I’ve tried many platforms, but WPT stands out for a few reasons:
1. Excellent tournament structure, always well-organized and on time.
2. Fast and stable servers, never experienced lag or crashes
3. Most importantly, their support team is helpful and professional, they respond quickly if anything goes wrong
Personally, I mostly play low buy-in tournaments, and WPT offers great variety with decent competition — it really helps improve your skills.
You don’t need to risk big money to enjoy the game or get good results.

You are limited in your choice due to German regulations (Glücksspielstaatsvertrag, GGL Whitelist, google it for more information).

You have 4 sites to choose from:

GG-Poker
PokerStars
PartyPoker (with bwin as additional skin)
888 Poker

For no investment, I would choose 888 Poker and GG-Poker.

But be advised, withdrawing mostly needs a deposit.

Playing on any other platform (WPT blocks directly(Geoblocking), some others don´t)
that is not on the Whitelist can lead to 6 months arrest in jail.

This will always depend on your objective in poker, and your level in relation to your opponents, however, if you want to embrace variance and compete for bigger prizes, GGpoker is the best option, if you want less variance and tournaments with few players, then partypoker, 888poker, wptglobal will be excellent options.

GG poker has a good bonus offer for a first deposit and has daily freebies that can easily rack up into a usable bankroll quickly and with very little effort.

Second would be WPTG, but their recent freeroll promotion is over so I am waiting for something substantial to show up there. Personally I think their tournaments run too long for my taste, but still way better than something like ACR.

888 has some good freerolls and probably a decent starter bonus, but they have lost so much user traffic that I don't know if it is worth investing much time into it anymore.

For micro stakes tourneys on a trustworthy reputable site >>> Partypoker! I believe they have a number of satellite freerolls running each day where you can move to next level to win tournament tickets (I'm not sure about this as I'm not interested in playing in those games but I believe there are some Cardschat members who do well in them).

What about A.C.R.? Does it fall in the '6months jail' category?

Has anyone ever actually been incarcerated for 6months for playing online poker in Germany on a site that isn't on the White List? Has any micro player been locked up for trying to win a few pennies online? Has any freeroller had their freedom taken?

Yes, ACR/Coinpoker is not on the whitelist.

Also, ACR does geo-blocking, so without VPN you even can’t register there from Germany.
So do most "bigger" poker sites that are not on the German whitelist, e.g. IPoker network.
When you verify your account (you have to) you must have dual citizenship with a foreign (non-German) passport with non-German place of residence.
I don't know if someone has been arrested, and it doesn’t matter to me.
Court justice will tend to make it a suspended sentence, but it is listed as previous conviction in your criminal record certificate (all prison sentences above 3 months go into this record).
Risk such penalty for pennies?
Maybe you want/need a job at an airport, you won't get it with such an entry.
The effort and the return are completely disproportionate.

I've only used pokerstars and 888 and 888 by far. it offers hourly freerolls where you can win pennies that can easily add up and it also has lots of freerolls similar to cardchat that are available to wider groups. from just these two types you can build up a good enough bankroll to then play blast or cash tables or go into the casino or sports bets

They can't take your money if you do not cash in.

You just need to cash-out.

I suggest you split your initial cash-in, definitely start with 888 poker, however register to GGpoker - i prefer their software, there is also a chat... faster poker...

There is also a "honeymoon" on GGpoker...

I think 888 poker still has the most freerolls, although there are a lot fewer than before. You can win real money on these freerolls. The satellites are also good.

Yup. The other players will take your money unless you work hard enough to beat them.
