On most sites you will need to make a Deposit prior to making a Withdrawal (as you'll also be withdrawing your funds via the same route used to make the deposit). This is actually standard practice on most sites. To spend time playing on a site without having this already in place is a mistake. You want to know that you'll be able to Withdraw your cash and to also have the process go quickly & smoothly.
Partypoker Cardschat games 'were' by far the best games for the past couple years (in my opinion) mainly because the competition was much stronger in them. There was a group of Mexican players who played in them regularly... ones who I considered to be some of the best (if not thee best) players on the forum (who participate in Cardschat games). For myself, this made these games far superior over all of the others (battling it out regularly with the same group of players (especially when they are good) makes for a much more challenging & interesting game. It's pretty much impossible to find a 'good' game that is a freeroll (imo)... by 'good' I mean, one that requires thinking.
And, as others have stated, the number of entrants is less so the payouts are bigger. ie. today's 'Silver' game has 37 entrants, with the top 8 paid.
Monday Platinum games are even better --> 24 - to - 28 entrants with Top 5 paid.
