888 vs pokerstars

I agree, Pokerstars used to be my preferred site, however, the lack of available free rolls, since most of theirs require tickets, makes it harder to play for free. I do enjoy the large quantity of free rolls and low cost tourneys on 888, however, just this AM I am unable to login to 888. I have requested help from their support team but am still waiting. As for their free rolls I do like the Daily $500.

I have just got back into poker after a long hiatus and am trying out both Pokerstars and 888poker freerolls while I decide which one to deposit with.

Both have good playing inerfaces, but still don't think they are as good as the one I had with Betfair when I used to play before. 15 years and interfaces have not improved at all if you ask me.

So far I am leaning towards Pokerstars as they just have so many more game types going on, other than hold'em. Lots of PLO, which I am liking more and more these days.

I like games without addons and a lot more of 888 games seems to have these, but they do have a few fun formats I like the look of, like "World Cup" team poker tournaments. They do have a great selection of satellite tournaments if you fancy working you way to a big table!

I think both are good sites and it's best to go with the one that has the best selection of games for you.

I play pokerstars, but I doubt if their randomizer is as random as they say.
Actually it looks like not.
I might move to another pokersite in the future if these impossible stuff keeps happening.

I wanted to ask someone about the daily $500 before I deposit with 888. Do you get one entry per deposit or you can enter every day after your first deposit?

American player here. Of the 3, I can only get into americas cardroom. Pokerstars and other is not allowed without a VPN to make it look like a person is in another country.

Hello, the All CardsChat Community! As for me, PokerStars is my basic Poker site.
Despite anything, I mean, ongoing the different negative changes in this Poker room,
PokerStars, by my opinion, still is the best Poker site in general, I mean: by traffic,
proposed games, software, service and etc... The second my Poker site this is American
Cardroom: this Poker site is my attempt to substitute the good old Full Tilt... Utill all!

I can see, why people might not like R+As, if they are playing for fun. For me personally a classic tournament with no add-on and also no bounties is still the purest and best tournament experience.

But if your goal is to win money and build a bankroll, then the R+As on 888 Poker are simply to good an opportunity to pass on. The 2,2$ and 5,5$ R+A only charge rake of the initial buyin, which mean, you are paying around 4% rake effective rather than the usual 10%. And they also tend to be softer than regular tournaments with similar payouts.

Please do note however, that since you are always going to purchase the add-on, if you make it that far, and sometimes a rebuy as well, the bankroll requirement for the 2,2$ R+A is around 500$, and for the 5,5$ R+A its around 1.200$. But maybe its time also to just deposit that money and look to build an actual bankroll rather than trying to start from 25$ and get stuck with freerolls, as so many people do

The main thing at the beginning of the tournament is to double or triple successfully, and there, as it goes, play with your brain and marginal hands. Just like yesterday they knocked me out on a cell with Q3s.
