If FullTilt closes to merge with Stars; I'd consider it a bad news. Also 6 weeks is a very short time; what would happen to Ring game tickets, Tourney Tickets, FTPs and coins?

I play on both sites and I won't double my play on Stars if FullTilt closes.

FullTilt would be admitting Epic Fail despite all the changes they made to revamp the brand.

My question is: Are they really losing money with FullTilt or are they just "trying" to make more with a merger?

I won't be depositing on either site since I don't really understand what these guys are trying to accomplish with all of their recent moves.
I have also removed their stock from my watch list.
It might be time to get a new hobby.

On one hand they say they want more recreational players but on the other hand they keep scaring them away by constantly moving the goal post.

In the end they'll have regs pinned against regs with minimum rakeback and bad promos.

As soon as the regs realize they are just funneling rake to Stars; they will stop playing.

They should instead put the focus on the fun aspect of the game instead of always thinking more money, more money, more money; because they eventually will kill the game.

at the end of the day its a business with shareholders, but by trying to screw everyone out of every cent they can is the wrong way to go.

Wonder how much it cost to pay everyone back the money when Full Tilt Reopened and how much they have made since:eek:

I really liked the FTP software, especially the FT deal making process :(

I don't really understand how it will work.

I guess we will have to choose if we want to play on the FullTilt side or on the PokerStars side. We won't be able to play both at the same time as we can now.

This seems like a really bad idea. Plus they risk damaging the PokerStars brand by merging it with FullTilt.

I think this is the first step in eliminating the FT brand.

FTP again ?

If they close FTP we are going to be screw once again. at FTP the level of competition is a little easier and the freerolls less crowded, also the cash vs. investment is better for microgames and finally what would happen to our Ring game tickets, Tourney Tickets, FTPs and coins?

I am not at that point yet.

But I don't enjoy playing poker like I used to.

For the moment I think I will only play freerolls.

I am disappointed. :( I like it better than PokerStars. I also wonder what will happen to the money on the FT? And there will remain $ 150 freerolls on PokerStars? :)

I have been told they will only last through the end of March. Still in discussion though.

it seems that Full Tilt will run as a separate brand on the PokerStars client for a while, and after that it will be killed off completely

Amaya poker blowouts continue. First Ongame, then Full Tilt and Stars downfall is well underway. Femme fatale for poker companies?

Anyways, lesser networks is always bad for players.

PokerStars is far from a downfall. ;)

Guys, now there's a huge question mark on my forehead. Is it safe to deposit in FTP yet?

Simple question as I was doing it for the 100% bonus. What happens now?

Well this sucks, from the other post i read on this forum about this merge, they want to get rid of FT, which i like the most out of everysoftware out there currently on the market, everywhere i have played and trust me i have played on a lot of rooms, to name but a few: Jokestars, FT, 888, PKR, Americascardroom, PP, DP, Unibet, Redbet, PokerMira, everywhere i have made a decent bankroll except on Jokestars, somehow i dont find that as coincidence, on no other room i am more afraid to push all in preflop with AA then on Jokestars, i hate that room, used to be my favourite, but that time i didnt know the stuff i know today, how random card generator works and how it generates rake for Jokestars, cos their main profit comes from rakes, so it is in their intrest to maximize rake, and how u would ask, by programing the generator to create more action hands, where one player always starts with the worst hand but always gets there on the end, and the other player is dragged along with usually two pairs or flush draw.
I know many of u will say i am one of those thin foil guys that believes in conspiracy`s, but my mind is made up by actually playing their software, where like on no other room out there the bad beats and suckouts and hands that are 1:1000000 are daily thing, no biggie.
Just one more thing, i counted how many times i will win with AA preflop allin where AA stand on 83%, but nooooooooot on Jokestars 7 times out of 11 i lost with them, so guess that 83% doesnt apply when it comes to Jokestars,
