Pokerstars rewards got worse? Pokerstars is getting worse?

Hi, is it only me or everyone else no longer gets weekly poker reward chest? Power path added tickets got way less, there are way less phases to play, satelites number decreased way in numbers recently... Maybe some one knows what is going on? Was there a change in management? It seems that all the most popular, exceeding garantees stelite tournaments are thrown away for some reason, rewards are reduced. Why is that? This makes no sense unless Pokerstars is starting to go belly up.

The Rewards program at Stars is actually much better with the recent change. It is once again geared towards rewarding players who play the most & who pay the most rake. The former rewards program with the mystery chests of little value was a TERRIBLE system and is why the site lost traction a few years back. I don't understand how you could see it differently.
The only ones benefitting less are the freerollers and the ones seeking freebies. The Powerpath satellite numbers are fewer because the site is no longer handing out 30 seats, 100seats, 10 seats added satties (although they still have one for the $11's & one for the $1.50's).
So instead of handing out dollars to players who aren't really generating business, why not give that money to the ones who are? (it worked for them in the past)

thats not correct. If you are living in the wrong country you got nothing from Stars. You have only to pay. So for some reward program maybe good, others have no access to program on Stars. That possible on other sites, why not at Stars?

I think it the matter of adhering to specific country's legislation. Pokerstars seems to be more law abiding where other sites treat gambling regulations less seriously.

You are correct. Small- and micro-stakes get less. Seems a little backward.

Would be better to just rake less but I guess players feel they get something extra when they get something back (a psychological thing). Even if everything the poker sites give back comes from the rake in the first place.

Of course in Sweden we get NOTHING from any site: No Rakeback, no Bonuses, and no freerolls. So much for no discrimination in the EU. Hard to compete on equal terms then you pay more rake indirectly.

I have played freerolls on Pokerstars. A waste of time as the fields are too big. Like banging your head against a brick wall wall. Virtually no chance of winning tickets with fields running in the thousands.

Swedes are technically allowed to play on GG But while it's easy to get money in it's almost impossible to get money out.

Luxonpay and Astropay were options before but the Swedish Banks don't accept transfers to your Bank account from these "digital wallets".

And while I complain about how Sweden treats Poker players: they just closed the only Casino for Live poker in the second and third-largest cities in Sweden and probably soon close the one in Stockholm too.

You are treated like a drug dealer if you get money from poker or sports betting.

it's just that there are no free tournaments from other Pokerstars sites right now and they only have their own tournaments. There are more players now than before. I don't know what this is the reason for this, but if you deposit money, you are rewarded for it and everything is still good, there are only one drawback. Now there are no free tournaments from other poker communities and you will have to withdraw the money yourself

Of course there were changes for people who play for money, to say otherwise is just absurd.

Removing the weekly 40% rakeback challenges is a huge downgrade. Rakeback went from 57.5% to 17.5%. Equivalent to doubling the rake!

The fact that you pay less rake than on other sites. So people go to the site that has the lowest rake.

And hopefully, you play more so you can win more from your opponents the more hands you play.

Svenska Spel (Swedish Games) used to have the lowest rake at small stakes (2-2,5%). No need for any rakeback if the rake is low and the competition soft.

Weird because I had the impression that the top 2 HSMTT online players in the world reside in Sweden. And over a dozen entries in $2k buyin MTT on Stars from 'Sweden'... today's Sunday Million had over 250 entrants from Sweden. (not suggesting Sun.Mill. players are 'pros' but they are players who are paying $109 to play). So CDarwin & Lena don't actually reside in Sweden? I'm confused.

Pitushina Poker Stars is a complete scam, they have their own bots that knock out players on any card, thereby increasing the winnings and money for Poker Stars. not distribution at the tables, but nonsense and fairy tales for idiots.When you are constantly being beaten with cards stronger than your opponents, the chip leader is constantly beating you with any two, and in a competing room you are a plus, then questions arise for this room.

it is the same here in Germany. A lot of pros are living in the meanwhile in Austria. All like Sweden is Europe. But all countrys have different rules. And on sites which are not regulated yopu could not play.
