Pokerstars vs GGPoker?

I live in Ontario and am restricted to only playing against Ontario residents on sites regulated by the Provincial government. I am on Pokerstars but not really happy with the site. I am thinking about changing to GG. Any comments are appreciated.

I was about to ask what GC was.

I don't have much to offer in regard to GGPoker/wsop.ca. I've played a few micro SNG's but nothing glaring stands out good or bad. I don't think it's super busy, yet but why not give it a go!

Check out the site for comparison. PS is the largest site and my fav. I just signed up recently with GGpoker bcause of cardschat but they do not even have my flag right. They display the China flag for me and said it will not affect gameplay anyway. whaaada

PokerStars by far the best on gameplay to me, but I've played on GG poker for CC freerolls and found it very cool platform too, but if you're playing microstakes cash the rake is very high like in most sites but they even charge preflop rake, you need to have a big winrate to profit, I understand they have a lot of traffic too, I'll try to make profit from CC freerolls and test the cash tables or SNGs have't make any deposits yet... I would go for both still hehe I'll play on both site wouldn't stay playing only on one site.

I quite like GG. PokerStars has been in steady decline for quite sometime IMO.

I play on both. I prefer the look of PokerStars although PS keeps freezing every time I close a table, so I have to keep restarting it.

Porkerstars is faster as an Android App.
But GGPOKER has more gaming offerings, even for those who are just starting out.

Advantage of gg are daily freebie rewards, now there is honey moon events also with big prizes if you do the daily mission, pokerstars has a lot of freerolls the advantage of gg is that there are more players (china, Japan etc.)
There are 300 000 players playing at main hours and 80000 in pokerstars

There's no real reason why you can't be on both sites...however if you only want your bankroll on one site then it ultimately comes down to what you are looking for. I am active on both and will offer my opinion, for whatever that's worth to you.

Reasons I like PokerStars
- Tournament schedule I feel is more robust
- Special events are more frequent
- More variery in cash games
- Spin n Go traffic is better even at the higher stakes
- Spins are your choice - 25BB or 10BB to start (WSOPca is 15BB at the 2x & 3x multipliers; 5x at higher)
- More opportunities to do challenges for chests & rewards

Reasons I like WSOP.ca
- Rakeback is better than on PokerStars
- Live satellites are available - WSOP ME for example from what I've heard
- Cash game traffic seems to be better at any time, especially in the evening

The ggpoker daily free gift is so nice to build a bankroll while learning the game without investing a single penny... If only for that you should try GG.

I play on gg poker but where are the free tournaments? I don't know about this. Can you help me?

I play ggpoker sited. The prize pool is high and there are many different incentives. Bonuses seemed to be very fair. I've looked at a few bonuses myself, so I'm convinced. In the future, I will play harder and improve my success day by day. Another advantage is that it does not use any additional software. All compete on an equal footing. And you can rebuy as many times as you want. It's all really great.

yes, the daily freebee is a reason i play on GG as well..and only for that , to build a bankroll..if i had to chose, i`d stay with Pokerstars.
I like the looks better ..

What are you not happy with Poker stars about? I love poker stars and party poker! Not really used GG poker yet much ... 888 poker is okay on mobile app but I cant download it for my computer for some reason

The 888 software triggers my antivirus, so I play the web version. It might be the same thing for you.

For beginners, I would recommend 888, as there are a lot of freerolls available. It's easy to increase your bankroll there

Yeah I can get the file to download it looks like it's doingthen fails every ttime but I've got 4 other Apps for the PC so its obviously a 888poker problem and they're losing business I've got enough to keep up with anyway ahahah!

Actuallly i don't have strong reasons to play at Pokerstars, c´mon guys their software is actually fine garbage, you are almost obligated to play it focused if you put the software background you take the risk of not being notified of your turn and leave you you as sit-out in the table, that's really annoying.
