I understand getting rid of the freerolls, but getting rid of 0.01/0.02?

They want to push everyone up a level to get more rake.

Either that or it stopped running and eventually did not start up again. This happened with all the 9-max Zoom tables, so they were taken down one by one.

This game was basically running nonstop since 13 years. I would be actually surprised if it ever stopped.

Goal here clearly is to push people to zoom nl5 imo but they will only loose more custom in the end. Most will just switch to NL2 rush and cash on GG is my guess.

Difficult to say what the specific goal is, especially when they presumably kept regular 2NL tables. Maybe their analysis showed, that new players lost their money to fast at 2NL Zoom, and that this was bad for the overall "ecosystem"? And so they would rather have new players start at the regular tables and perhaps continue playing longer? Or they could be testing the waters before eventually removing all 2NL tables and thus raise the bar for cash games.

Yeah agree new players would be better off at 2NL standard tables

Is this an official closure or is it just down? Did they release a statement?
