Well, the truth is that it is not impossible, although very difficult, especially to check. There is already an antecedent with the partypoker superuser. Although poker rooms do not really need the risk of doing something like that, since their profits come from commissions and if something like that came to the fore they would lose their customers. So if it happened, I doubt that it is part of the company, although I do not rule out that it is from someone internal to it, surely it does without knowledge of the company itself in the matter. The important thing is always to take evidence before the doubt

well, we're talking about 888 poker client and it's highly possible that was "house player".
Lately 888 client is infested with bots, and I have my suspicion that some of them are their own bots playing for them against the rest of the world.
It's not uncommon from one poker site to do such things.
Who can prove them wrong??
Who can prove them right?
Back in days, UB did same thing and they went out of business.
I think 888 is the next in the line.

I believe that an outsider can not hack a client and play freely, it will be quickly computed and banned, but their own bots may be to take the first prize places, thereby they lose their minimum income, but we can only guess.

That's the last stage of poker's zen: preflop mastery (when, how, and what).

is it possible that poker site or game can be hacked by hackers or they knew everyone hands. I was on the table 55$ buy in one guy puts all in and he never raised and did not lost a single hand in front of me he sucked almost every player on that table. It feels like he knew that what is about to come. And he finally won the tournament.

Yeah it feels like sometimes a player know what cards is coming but technically difficult to accomplish from a computer standpoint.

i can confirm i've seen house bot playing in the tournament. He was winning all hands with crazy cards to make players rebuy. I have told other players at the table that as soon as the guaranteed is met he will drop the chips and exit. Guess what happend...... exactly what i said. I am 1000% sure that 888 is rigged. I am not a losing player there i have positive results however the card dealing and the outcomes are unnatural and very unlikely when playing poker with randomly shuffled cards.

In NJ where I live we have 888 and wsop. They have different games but there run by the same people last week both sites began to have glitches and for about 5 days o got beat by everything. Every hand just about was beating by outrages cards. I swear that my hole cards had changed during a hand the screen flashed and the hand I had wasn't the same. It had been a little of real strange things going on. My feeling was that the room had been hacked I even mentioned it in a post last week.

And you are a world class player that no one has ever heard of. There have been posts with actual facts that happened it's not just complaining about bad beats, coolers etc.
But let's close the topic because we all suck at poker and you stepped in to tell us.

This is unlikely, but it doesn't equal 0 at all

888 poker is a shady site… don’t know about cheating but trying to withdraw money is nearly impossible … continues to ask for personal info … too bad because I liked their interface but the fact that they r probably making money on your personal info and selling info to highest bidder is my big worry… again impossible to prove so this site is making money in all ways… I learned my lesson only cost me 200$… but this site is to be avoided…

I have had situations in which I am suspicious but I usually see how the player ends and in the end it does not end well, in your case I won the tournament and you could comment on what happened to support what you experienced, they will surely investigate and draw conclusions, I was It makes the site very secure but of course they could have something vulnerable

Maybe this player just played for fun and he was very lucky and he caught the courage and played like this sometimes happens, but still you can't prove that he is a hacker because it's almost impossible

I think that if there is such a player, then it will not be for long, because the poker room is not suitable. they will look at his statistics and if something is suspicious, they will ban him at the same time.

I highly doubt that. If one would be so smart and able to "hack" the site i doubt he would be so obvious about that and target tournaments with 50$ buy-in.

I think he sucked in all the players and the creator of this thread, because the last time he was seen on the forum was November 3rd, 2017.🤔😁🤣

Hey all, I’m gonna copy paste my Reddit post from a few days ago as I have more and more evidence that 888poker has users who know the flop before it happens:

Having made a decent income on GGPoker this year ($8k+ in profit), I have recently decided to try 888poker as well, having started on that platform many years ago. I have never been a fan of the "online poker is rigged" brigade but after what I've witnessed over the last few days, I am beginning to get seriously suspicious. Especially if you compare 888poker to GGPoker which looks completely legit.

I am NOT talking about bad beats, coolers etc. I am talking about insane decisions from players with garbage hands who go all in pre-flop and always hit a monster hand. These are 2 examples from THE SAME PLAYER today who between these hands was playing rather cautiously and wouldn't go all in unless he had a strong hand. However, on occasion he would also shove with hands like these (the player in question is patriciomel1):

** Dealing down cards **

Dealt to ChrisWildman [ 6s, As ]

ChrisWildman raises [$2]

patriciomel1 raises [$21.42]

ChrisWildman calls [$19.92]

** Dealing flop ** [ 7s, 9s, Kh ]

** Dealing turn ** [ 8h ]

** Dealing river ** [ 2h ]

** Summary **

ChrisWildman shows [ 6s, As ]

patriciomel1 shows [ 5h, 7h ]

patriciomel1 collected [ $42.60 ]

———————————————

Second hand:

** Dealing down cards **

Dealt to ChrisWildman [ Ah, Ks ]

patriciomel1 raises [$40.19]

ChrisWildman raises [$128.75]

** Dealing flop ** [ 3h, 6d, 2h ]

** Dealing turn ** [ Jd ]

** Dealing river ** [ 5c ]

** Summary **

ChrisWildman shows [ Ah, Ks ]

patriciomel1 shows [ 4s, 9s ]

patriciomel1 collected [ $77.88 ]

On the same day I've also observed another player who was being quite tight, play in a tournament and do the following in one hand (50BB stack):

Raise UTG 2.5BB with 54s

Call a 6x raise and go 3-way to the flop.

The flop comes Ad3c8h, one player bets 13BB, the other villain calls, and hero calls as well with nothing but gutshot.

Turn card comes 2h and hero has the nuts.

Wins a massive pot with what can be described as a suicidal sequence of moves.

Both players were playing cautiously and didn't seem to be fishy but out of the blue decided to go completely insane, then got rewarded for it. I remember that many years ago I abandoned 888poker because I had a very similar situation against a player with 32o who called my shove on the board of AT9, deep into the tournament and just before the money, only for the turn and river to be 4 and 5. Everyone at the table was shocked at this and I reported the situation to 888poker who claimed to have investigated the matter but couldn't find anything.
