Hey all, I’m gonna copy paste my Reddit post from a few days ago as I have more and more evidence that 888poker has users who know the flop before it happens:
Having made a decent income on GGPoker this year ($8k+ in profit), I have recently decided to try 888poker as well, having started on that platform many years ago. I have never been a fan of the "
online poker is rigged" brigade but after what I've witnessed over the last few days, I am beginning to get seriously suspicious. Especially if you compare 888poker to GGPoker which looks completely legit.
I am NOT talking about bad beats, coolers etc. I am talking about insane decisions from players with garbage hands who go all in pre-flop and always hit a monster hand. These are 2 examples from THE SAME PLAYER today who between these hands was playing rather cautiously and wouldn't go all in unless he had a strong hand. However, on occasion he would also shove with hands like these (the player in question is patriciomel1):
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to ChrisWildman [ 6s, As ]
ChrisWildman raises [$2]
patriciomel1 raises [$21.42]
ChrisWildman calls [$19.92]
** Dealing flop ** [ 7s, 9s, Kh ]
** Dealing turn ** [ 8h ]
** Dealing river ** [ 2h ]
** Summary **
ChrisWildman shows [ 6s, As ]
patriciomel1 shows [ 5h, 7h ]
patriciomel1 collected [ $42.60 ]
———————————————
Second hand:
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to ChrisWildman [ Ah, Ks ]
patriciomel1 raises [$40.19]
ChrisWildman raises [$128.75]
** Dealing flop ** [ 3h, 6d, 2h ]
** Dealing turn ** [ Jd ]
** Dealing river ** [ 5c ]
** Summary **
ChrisWildman shows [ Ah, Ks ]
patriciomel1 shows [ 4s, 9s ]
patriciomel1 collected [ $77.88 ]
On the same day I've also observed another player who was being quite tight, play in a tournament and do the following in one hand (50BB stack):
Raise UTG 2.5BB with 54s
Call a 6x raise and go 3-way to the flop.
The flop comes Ad3c8h, one player bets 13BB, the other villain calls, and hero calls as well with nothing but gutshot.
Turn card comes 2h and hero has the nuts.
Wins a massive pot with what can be described as a suicidal sequence of moves.
Both players were playing cautiously and didn't seem to be fishy but out of the blue decided to go completely insane, then got rewarded for it. I remember that many years ago I abandoned 888poker because I had a very similar situation against a player with 32o who called my shove on the board of AT9, deep into the tournament and just before the money, only for the turn and river to be 4 and 5. Everyone at the table was shocked at this and I reported the situation to 888poker who claimed to have investigated the matter but couldn't find anything.
