Unfortunately living in the US, I can't partake in all the big regulated sites so for me it's Carbon Poker.
Have you being able to make withdrawals from them recently?

I don't play much at GG, but about club CC I completely agree with you! You only play at GG, don't you recommend other sites anymore?
Nope, just saying that GG made a great App, have great rooms, and is the only one giving tickets daily, for free. Not to mention all big players who joined their room.

PokerStars is my favorite site to play poker no doubt about that question. Cardschat can't be matched, the freerolls are obviously the # 1 attraction but I enjoy reading what other poker players have to say about a variety of topics.

I have played in 7 rooms and of all 888 poker is the best! I like the grid of satellites and tournaments. Most importantly, I'm used to playing there and understand what to expect from it, unlike the Americas Cardroom.

I've been AWOL from the rooms for a few months but went to log on to Carbon today. It says it is restricted in my country (US) or state. Are you still able to log on? I think I had about $60 to play with on that site. Hate to see it locked up.

Yes I can log in and play. I'm in California. I know there are a few states Carbon doesn't allow. I think it says somewhere on their website as I recall.
Thanks, Jim

Really? You still play on Carbon? Cool. I used to play there years ago. I'm gonna go check that out. I don't know if you know it or not but BetOnline and Sportsbook will let you play there. ACR has freerolls to get a roll going. I've got a small one over there from playing freerolls.

I also play on ACR and Ignition but I like Carbon the best. Unfortunately Carbon doesn't allow new players and the player pool is getting very small now. I have a ton of connection problems on ACR which is annoying. Of the three I play, to me Carbon has by far the cleanest software. No bells and whistles like ACR but no issues either. My guess is at some point they'll phase out the room and only have the sports betting and slots. My hope is that at some point they allow new players again and the room grows but probably won't happen.

Mine have changed over the years, but Party poker was #1 for awhile, followed by BOL/SB. Both had great promotions.
Why are you no more playing in any of the CC-freerolls? When i started here u were one of the top players and basically in every tournament. What happened? Ontario?

Imagine having a basically dead site which also not accepts new players as ur "best pokerroom". Just wow 😂

Regarding connection problems on ACR: try a 5g connection or go wired. Since i use a 5g connection i no more get disconnected and that annoying red triangle with 80 seconds disconnection no more shows up.

Bro, you pick your favorite, I'll pick mine. Yes it's my favorite. I like the software the best of the options I have, and having a small but consistent player pool isn't the worst thing. We all know each other pretty well and that's pretty nice.
I have a 5g connection and ARC still has connection problems on my end, but also other players are consistently timing out as well. For me Carbon works and works well.

Why would carbon not take new players? It doesn't seem like good business for them to not try to grow.

This week I tried to log on to my Carbon account and it had been disabled. It had been several months since I had played there, but I was very surprised by this. I contacted support and they said it was closed due to inactivity.

If they are kicking off old players and not allowing new players, they could get low on players.

I believe they are trying to eliminate the poker room and are just keeping it afloat for the die-hards like me. There is a very small player pool of regulars but even that is getting smaller, likely from reasons like you stated where they are closing accounts for inactivity. I'm not sure what their criteria is for inactivity. It's a shame, it's like the software.

Yes, it is a shame. Even though I don't play there much, I have always liked Carbon and was sad that they closed my account. It was one of the 1st sites I ever played on. I'm not sure how long I was inactive, but I'm thinking about 6 months. I have record that I played 9 months ago, but pretty sure I have played since then too. Their site said "$100/mo inactive fee charged if account not used for 12 months", so I figured I just needed to play at least every 12 months. I guess I was wrong about that one. You enjoy the site while you can!

I prefer GG Poker first thanks to its resolution and also to the many tournaments that it offers.
I like Pokerstars too, it's still the historic room that offers interesting events.
