What happened to 888?

Are they in trouble? First they got rid of most of the freerolls, then I cant withdraw anymore. I notice a lot of others who cant withdraw anymore too. Support did finally get back to me, and suggested I deposit more money lol

They certainly did not get rid if most of their freerolls, lol.
Check ur filters and use the search function of the forum. There are already threads discussing this topic.

If you're from Romania where 888 had a migration(or another country with similar circumstances), to make an withdraw you actually need to make a "first deposit"... but tbh it's really worth it as this usually give lots of extra money...

I'm playing on 888 for like 15 years and I've never had any issues with deposits/ withdrawals, still, when I opened my account I sent the documents to verify it and every time I change my ID/ card/ bank account/ address- I don't wait for them to ask for this documents and I send them to always keep my account updated(since I've started playing online, I did this to all the sites I've played and I never had any issues with withdrawals and most of my accounts have way less deposits than withdrawals...)

I have never had an issue until now. I have been verified, and have used Muchbetter for years, but I cannot access that anymore, except for deposits. 888 support just recommends making a deposit

Are you talking about 888 USA? Your profile list you as living there. 888 USA is not the same as the international site, where everyone else play, so both game selection including freerolls and withdrawal options will be different. With that said its not uncommon, that sites remove withdrawal options and replace them with others, so you will just to find another one, which work for you. Or perhaps Muchbetter can still be used, but you need to make a small deposit using that method first.

Lately there has been no cut regarding freerolls. Actually the complete opposite is the case. Since the beginning of the year the site is full with freerolls. Most of them pretty low value though. As i already said: reset ur filters.

Deposit the minimum if u want that ur method appears again and if its worth for u to continue there (which will include lots of possible issues).

He is from Canada (played against him) and we are most likely talking about absolute minimum deposits here so yes he should just do that and see if his method appears again, which probably will.

Yes, I play (played?) in Canada, and there a lot less freerolls available lately. And with the loss of an available withdraw method short of depositing
MORE money, which their support says "MAY" work, I think my online poker days are over. Check the 888 support thread and there are many who are having trouble withdrawing funds. Good luck all!

After reading all the bad reviews(especially with regard to withdrawals) and seeing that my account was suspended after a long layoff (and unable to get it reinstated) I have decided to give up on 888poker.

I think they've actually increased the amount of freerolls on the site.

It is not my favorite site and I play on there less than all the other sites that I play on but one of the things that keeps me on there is 'the play is weaker there then most other sites'

I havent played 888 as my country is excluded from the list of countries, nevertheless when I do get the chance to play again, I want to have freerolls thats the key advantage of 888...having frequent freerolls all the time (or at least some from cardschat).

I'd stop playing there if I was you, they are definitely picking on you compared to the other Canadian's that have replied stating that nothing has changed for them.

I've been playing on 888 for 11 years and never had any problems with withdrawals. The only thing is, they banned me from making sports bets without explaining the reason. But they told me I can still play poker and casino.

What happened to 888?
