What is your opinion about Betfair?

If you like sports betting then it's one of many competitors including William Hill and Ladbrokes in the scene.

If you are into poker or card-specific gambling then betfair is not at all dominant.

They were always solid in my experience withdrawing there max 24 hs to the ewallet, good prices in the exchange if you are into sports bets or maybe sports trading.
I dislike the poker client , messy lobby.

Played for short time in their poker room several years ago. Didn't like their soft, probably they have improved it by now.
However, in terms of sports betting through betfair exchange platform, I rate them as the best betting exchange in their industry

They are actually good, fast on withdrawals but when it comes to poker software it's actually very slow, you will be needing strong machine to play more than 2 tables at the time.

I think you got it all wrong madman...
betfair is unique...it's not just a bookie like the others for taking a punt...it's for TRADING which is not possible with the others unless you arb. one againts the other when there is an odds discrepancy, but then again Betfair is streets ahead

i play there only for Jackpot freerolls, i drive crazy with rebuys

anyway i have never deposited there. hmm the software is not bad, at least is far better than ACR or Party Poker ( i've had strange connection troubles in both)

Well you know that Betfair is a betting exchange company, so I believe the usage of the phrase "it's not just a bookie" is a typing mistake.
Betfair is not a bookmaker, the odds are placed and accepted by other players.
Betfair works like a middle man. One places a bet, another accepts it and Betfair holds on to the money to give to the winner (minus a fee of 4%-5%, if I remember correctly).
The odds are better than those of a bookie, because of the competition of those who offer bets.

Thanks for the info!! I like party poker then i think i will like betfair too...
