I was having this issue today and learned the following: 1) If I export my hand from Drivehud I have an option to export to cardschat. This means the data is put in my clipboard so I can paste to the cardschat hand converter. However this gives the message "Looks like this hand has already been converted" I then exported through plain text same issue I then read your post and it got me thinking, looked at the text that was exported and it was missing much of the info so I couldn't even understand what was happening in the hand by reading the plain text. (As I could if I looked at the raw data from hand histories had they not been converted into a database in my HUD). I then exported with the option in Drivehud export to "3rd party apps" And all of a sudden it worked. I could then use any of the 3 output formats in the cardschat converter powered by pokeit. Hopefully that helps others as well.
