It was very early in the tournament and I had already got an advantage, but I lost it in this hand because my A-5 straight lost to 2-6 straight when villain held 36o at showdown.

I thought there wouldn't be something better than me but I didn't thought that someone would hold 36 hole and played all the way to this stage. In which step did I play wrongly?

Preflop this a fold in this seat vs a raise.
UTG has a range of hands that crush you and there are players still to act (they could reraise, you don't want to be getting into a big pot preflop with A3).

Post flop you just got unlucky, you had the very good hand and the best draw so can't really fold in a freeroll here, just a shame you got sucked out on by a bingo hand, that's how poker goes sometimes (especially freerolls).

I agree with monkey. I would have mucked after UTG raised pre flop but on the flop you were essentially married to the hand with the nut flush draw also. As my nurse mother would say, "Feces occurs"

I fold from early position preflop, then from late position Btn SB BB where I call.

I don't think you can fold on this flop, you have so many outs.

I would be ok flat calling this hand from CO or BTN, but with the entire table still left to act behind you, its just a fold.

Flop
Thats a pretty good flop giving you not only a flopped straight but also a redraw to the nut flush. I am totally on board with betting, but maybe full pot is a bit to much. When SB jam, of course you should be happy to get it in. Even if he has 63, you still have equity with your flushdraw, and you are ahead of everything else.

Results
The main mistake is assuming, that you did something wrong, because you lost. Poker is a game of probabilities, and you are going to lose lots of hands, that you played perfectly fine. And you are also going to win lots of hands, that you played poorly. Which is actually the whole reason, why poker can still be a profitable game to play. Because this gives bad players the illusion, that what they did was right.

In this hand preflop is a little loosy-goosy. But the same situation could also have happened, if you had the same hand on BTN, so at the end of the day it was just a cooler. And also a little bit of bad luck, since you failed to hit one of your 7 outs to the flush. 1 in 3 times you actually win this hand and tripple up, so its not even like, you got your chips in bad. Even if you knew their cards, you would still be correct to get it in. The player making a bad play here was BTN with his non-nut draw, that could be and in fact was drawing dead.
