The Buy-In was $30+$3 and was a $10,000 Guaranteed NL Hold'Em Tournament held at Titan this evening. I thought with the tournament being quite a high buy-in, the majority of the idiots would not risk that type of money knowing they don't stand a cats in hell chance of winning the tournament. I'm quite a relatively tight player to start off with in Tournaments and gradually become more passive as the Tournament evolves. I made it very clear the hands I generally liked to play, and got quite a lot of respect on the table when I raised pre and post flop. The player who happened to knock me out of the Tournament had in capitals written as my notes 'AN IDIOT!', which followed by 'Called an All-In pre-flop with 7-4 and got lucky on the Turn/River'. I was dealt A,A (Which of course is always a nice hand to pick up - especially when the player involved has called). I raised 400, knowing he would definately call me. My plan was to move all-in as soon as a Picture Card comes in the Community Cards. On the Flop and Jack and Queen are on the Board. I slowly move All-In. He calls straight away and displays a J,5o. A 5 comes on the River and thats the end of me. I just had some questions about the hand, maybe you can help me analyse it. What were the percentages Pre and Post flop for us both and what were the odds of him getting a 5 on the River after having a pair of Jacks already?
