Ice to see you!

Is it possible to have an edge in these superfast turbo freerolls? They drop to all-ins so fast that using any even remotely tight range feels pointless. Multiway pots all the time which makes even aceace pretty flakey hand.

Is it just best pushing all the time and take what you get? Even with 3 minutes it is kinda shaky. Maybe at 6 minutes per blind level you get something to work with? I believe there can be an edge everywhere but it does not seem that way in these superfastturbo freerolls.

Hyper tournaments are always a lottery. But if you play only with strong cards, you will still have a slight advantage. At least I follow this principle: if I have good cards, I play, if not, I fold.

Unless there is serious money to win, then I advice you to not play these 1 minute blind level games. The format is so different from any regular tournaments, that you wont learn much.

You have a choice whether to play in these tournaments or not. These are really tournaments where your skills don't matter, only your luck matters. If you play them, you have a chance to get into the ITM, if you don't play them, you have no chance to get into the ITM. You just have to accept it as it is :)

In 888 you can easily get into ITM even when you are  entire tournament in almost any freeroll btw (and not just in these with 1 min blinds) ...

If you play Freerolls to earn money: the faster the structure, the better.

If you pay Freerolls to have fun: I guess the structure can be slower if you want some real poker that includes more postflop play.

If you play Freerolls to get good at poker: don't bother.

This is true, but if its like 2.000 players competing for $200, you should probably find another way to make money instead of wasting your time. Even though you are going to bust very fast on average :)

One-minute blinds? No room for skills or post-flop play here because this is just bingo and even more so because it's a freeroll - shove anything suited, anything with a face card, any connector or 1-gapper and hope for the best.

These types of tournaments depend a lot on luck, people go with any high card, and you can't practice your strategies, as long as you play them you lose at the start or almost reach the prizes because people play in a very crazy way

Those games are amazing and every low value freeroll should be setup like this.

End of Story 😉✌️

usually in such hypertournaments I just wait for a strong hand and go all-in. Opening 2bb with a mediocre hand will not be profitable, in most cases you will be fluffy and most likely you will drop this hand

I have to say that I prefer those super turbo 888poker daily freerolls than the regular ones. The prize pool is so small for thousand of players (like $50 or $200 for at least 2k players), so, it's better to finish faster. I feel like such a waste of time when I play for hours to win only cents

I think it's all about luck here too, I'm playing them this week to see if I can get a $55 ticket to the big tournament on Sunday, luckily these tournaments go fast:)
